anyone else die on hook before going into second state?

Just played a match where I was taken off the hook before going into second state and then on my second hook I was killed automatically as if i was on second state. Strange glitch, wasn't sure if this has happened to anyone else

Might be a server lag thing, where you saw it as 99% of phase one, but on the server it saw you get pulled at 1% of phase 2. I know from personal experience that if the tentacle is coming down, even if you haven't hit the first skill check the game definitely sees it as phase 2

It's usually a timing thing where I'm saved just as I go into second state - the rescue is just as the animation for going into struggle would start so seems like they made it in time but they actually didn't.
