Third way to escape the trials?
I recently watched a YouTube video in which it mentions that the Devs have disclosed there IS a third way of escaping the trials. The other two obviously being the hatch and the exit gates. I don't believe that the devs would suggest that dying, DCing or Uninstalling would be a way in which to escape. The YouTube video in question also suggests that is form of escape has been in action since the very beginning, yet has still not been found in our 5 years of playing.
I have attempted to research and find proof of the Devs stating this, however have been unsuccessful. If anyone has evidence and are happy to share that would be amazing! I've started to gather lore and evidence in order to attempt to solve this mystery and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Under certain circumstances you may ascend and the entity will bless you.
In that case in EGC in the basement you can take the killers weapon and kill him. (May or may not be true)

Couldnt it just be the fact that there is 2 exit gates and a hatch equaling 3

Had a thought of how afking as a survivor, the entity exposes where you are and tries to get rid of you, it would be cool if there was a secret mechanic that if a survivor afks for a long enough time and the killer doesnt come for them, the entity takes them and throws them into the Void which i just read up on the wiki

No - the third way is for the developers to involve a test of some sort.
to 'Escape' you must have the code accept as much: ( A zone that changes the value of 'QueryEscapeStatus' to 'QueryEscapeStatus = T' )
You can't leave the trial to win using clipping methods, there are no strange ultra-escape Easter eggs to be exploited. There must be a designated zone with this code effecting the game.
There is no hidden locker nor a hyper secret code that allows survivors to use a weapon.
I wish this were the case - but it simply is not in the game.
