Am I allowed to Dislike Nurse?
I just really really really really dislike her as a killer and as a survivor. Sure she is unique but she literally ignores all mechanics and basic functions of this game. I like the fun of mind gaming my opponent and with Nurse the only thing to do is double back or hold W. Its 50/50 which means She's either going to hit you or not and anyone who is half decent with her is getting you regardless. I am not knocking anyone who plays her but I truley despise her. I used to suicide first hook but I realized it makes my team mates feel like they had a chance if I didn't so now I just play as immersed as possible lol.

You can like and dislike anyone you want. It’s your personal preferences. Unless it’s Spirit in that case you have to like her :)

you can dislike whoever you want. I dislike bubba with a passion but I respect people that do like him (I don’t get it but it’s ok). As for nurse I have only played 2 games ever against someone that was top tier. Damn was is a mismatch. Hopefully I can go up against another nurse that’s top tier. But I’d rather be beaten by a top tier nurse than a facecamping noed bubba. @ThiccBudhha still one of the GOATs

She's hard to mindgame if she's on yo arse in a loop or in a place without a lot of LoS blockers.
If you do have a lot of LoS blockers the mindgame is to misdirect with where you want to go at a distance. But you need to be running early.

Opinions are like @ssholes we each have one but they all stink. Nurse hands down requires more skill X10 than any other killer so if you get killed by one the fault is not in the game or her design but with the survivor who obviously doesnt have enough experience to avoid her play style. Just remember this she no longer has a 3B build so you cant really b!tch as much she is much easier than she was in 2018 or whenever it was she lost her extra blink. Nurse players need encouragement not dismissal as their numbers have always been in the decline

You can hate a killer but we're gonna tell you why your opinion is wrong. I hate hag doesn't mean I think she robs me of agency or is bad for the game. My prefered playstyle just runs counter to how she's played.
Nurse is all about Los denial and forcing the nurse to make difficult blinks. If she takes the safe blinks she will eventually catch up and get the guaranteed hit but she will lose the game unless she takes risks with her blinks.
If all you does is hold w and focus on getting as much distance as possible yeah your gonna get absolutely annialtaed. But hey why not start this trend now I do love how the majority of reworked killers are miserable to play might as well make the nurse even worse.
One thing that drives me up the wall is this focus on dbd playing with these specific looping rules. It's infuriating how every concept of killer needs to play to this formula of playing with a focus on pallets and vaults being the be all and end all of dbd gameplay. Asking a survivor to focus on denying Los as much as possible or (slow there pace to move around a corner is apparently forbidden I guess?)
Dbd is in desperate need of a shake up same tired crap. All the time this "agency" crap needs to go so we can see some baseline additions to both the killer and survivor role. Even if it came in alt game modes it would be a step in breathing some fresh air into dbd.

Btw, stats show that Nurse has lowest kill ration of all killers. :D

You are free to dislike or like literally anything in the game. People are also free to have opinions on what you like or dislike. Liking or disliking something has no relevance to its balance. You disliking Nurse does not change the objective fact she is a well-balanced well-designed killer. You can also like killers that were badly designed or badly balanced, such as pre-nerf Spirit. You liking pre-nerf Spirit in this example would not change the objective fact they were badly designed pre-nerfs.

I love spirit and I mourn for her as she was once a terrifying force to be reckoned with!!! Now she is just a weak old spirit with nothing but 2 addons going for her :(

I am not a huge fan of the mentality that high skill justifies imbalance. Nurse is very poorly designed. The opposite of Leatherface. The lower the skill floor and the higher the skill ceiling the better. But Nurse has an extremely high skill floor and low skill ceiling which makes useless at lower levels and oppressive at higher levels.
She is pretty fun though and I rarely feel cheesed when she lands a godlike blink. So I can see why people defend her, too. If this game was actually competitive, I would be disappointed. As a side grade to irl hide and go seek tag, though? She aight.

Nurse is the only killer I actively don’t play. I hate that wheeze mechanic where you stare at the ground half the match, so irritating.

This is relatively accurate (surprisingly) but will only mostly work against beginners and impatient Nurses (often one and the same).
Still, this is valuable information for players lost against her.

Going against good Nurses is just that but more advanced. Be better at making and faking reads.

Yeah, that also means shes literally the only killer that you can loop out in the open with no obstacles whatsoever.
But you obviously have every right to like or dislike whatever you want.

It's fine to not like playing against certain killers. As long as you aren't rage quitting games because of the killer you are facing or demanding unnecessary changes, because you don't like them. I don't see an issue.

This exactly. Liking and disliking is entirely subjective. It also has nothing to do with changes for game balance. Liking or disliking something is not a valid reason to change it in game, but you are still free to dislike it.
