is auto-dead hard real?
Someone allready made cheat for dead hard to always avoid your hit? And how do you realise someone might using it if maybe they just have good timming?

Yeah, it's real.
I have no idea how to tell though. You can reaction DH most things, iirc.

Ive seen at least two instances of people having a forced false hit validation while not actually gaining distance or doing the dead hard animation.
They just get hit, shout, and the killer does their blade wipe while they just keep running normally.

Its a thing. Good luck trying to figure out who actually is running it. Hit validation has made successfully timing E less difficult. All those "exhausted on the ground" complaints are gone.

Anyway its not like reporting do a lot it take so much time for a report that its not that worth the time

Report what? Using a perk? Who could even tell the difference between a hack and validation? Whoever thinks they can is a clown.

Like flying, insta healing and whatever else is real, auto dead hard also can be real, but this is a cheat that is impossible to know if the person is cheating or they actually know how to use DH correctly.

You cannot prove it. But in a lot of cases it is really fishy.
Especially when on multiple occasions same survivor(s) manage to win DH mind games

Im not reporting that i have know way to know if they are hacking anyway im not even reporting the hacker that hold the game hostage because i dont believe the report are doing something because of a experiment i did with a friend

I feel similarly. Apparently they do something if there is video proof, but I am not recording anything. So I guess there is not much use in reporting.

Sometimes I've been licking the back of the survivor's neck for a couple of seconds before swinging and they've still managed to Dead Hard. I don't know how they do it!

Those who just trolls where you get out of the game asap are annoying, but at least you know.
Hackers that try to hide and just get wins from it are way more annoying and it's hard to find out when there is no replay after the game where you could see their POV.
Problem is that you can things that look like a cheat. Was it just good medkit and CoH, or is he a cheater etc.

Only time you could probably tell is if you weren't actually going to hit someone (e.g. someone else was close and you were obviously targeting them instead) and they still have a perfectly timed Dead Hard.

Since the validation changes, many survivors can easily press the dead hard button after your swing has begun, so follow them all you like, there's no mind game any more except for people who haven't worked it out yet.

It's easy for Lunge and Ranged attacks, but normal attack is quite hard. It's almost impossible to know if he started attack, or he is just doing different animation to bait your DH.
But yeah, I don't like DH, it's annoying when you manage to get good mindgame and survivor can just press E.

The irony is many players use Dead Hard primarily for gaining distance, not as much for the invulnerability. They could literally strip invulnerability out of Dead Hard entirely and it would still be a fairly popular perk, only there would be no possibility of a cheater mimicking its effect to evade damage.

I sus any survivor who dead hards perfectly to a quick hit when I'd waited years before swinging.

I had someone do it to me after I was on their back for about 5 seconds. Ran into them again, followed them for 10 seconds, nowhere near anything they could vault or any pallets, perfect DH use.
They used it in a way that it almost felt like my input was being read. Definitely a subtle cheat that people use along with others.

One way to tell is to make sure you swing when it's almost unavoidable. So right behind them, basically could reach out and grab them you're that close. If they manage to consistently dead hard through that then I dont think it's legit. The window they have to dead hard through that is so small theres no way they could do it reliably.

Auto DH and lagswitch more than real, i get it every 2nd game on killer and unskilled, braindead devs doing nothing about it and wont do , untill the game wont be sold to another company who cares about community. HvH games incoming, my frriends. Get ready and buy yourself a hack too, cuz soon we wont be able to play without hacks
