Welp I guess this is good bye.
I loved DBD as I had 2K hours on my steam (1.8K on Killer and 200 Hours on Surv) but the current balance with the SBMM killed my love for the game. I was one of those people that try to play fairly as possible but still get 4K.
But this morning I received a certain email.
Welp I surely hope DBD gets for the better but seeing the Mid Patch Update and seeing Twins get nerfed again (no QOL changes or a proper compensation like with Deathslinger).
Imma say Good Bye and come back if it ever gets Fun for me again.

i thought that too, but i hate the game with a passion. enjoy bully simulator without functional matchmaking, hope you learn fast because one mistake and you can't play the game.

Haven't played the game myself but watched plenty others play it and it didn't really seem like bully simulator to me especially compared to the flashlight and sabo squads in dbd

when u have under an hour and ur facing level 80+ dollmasters for 17 games in a row and counting, u get very tired very quickly. it wasnt fun and if i kept forcing myself to play i wouldve done something i regret.
so i gave my key away to my bf, and honestly? if ur into stealth, its the game for u. if ur not, then it isn't, because interaction is massively discouraged in the game. and have fun if u make a single mistake, because then ur prevented from playing the game.
not my cup of tea, if u can find it fun then im glad for u but imho ######### that game. at least until it gets matchmaking

Oh haven't watched much survivor side gameplay but I think iirc there's a ping system in that game I know that doesn't guarantee your teammates won't be potatoes but at least that's one thing it has going for it compared to dbd and from what I've seen in the discord the listen to feedback quite well, I'm sure it will get matchmaking eventually
And I'm 100% sure it'll better then kills and escapes based matchmaking 😂🤣

I've been in the beta since wave 2. It's fun but lacks content (DBD had little at launch but it was also the only game in town) and I expect it to get a lot of teen based buffs because I can't imagine the DBD crowd will go for a game where the monster can easily camp/tunnel you and you have zero perks to stop it. Teens aren't hand held even a tiny bit as much as survivors, so that will likely cause complaints. The community is also already getting some of the DBD survivor community now. Just the other day I was in a team that kept complaining amongst themselves about the monster being "toxic" because he was.....playing to win and not playing to let us win.

It is that bad, huh? I could kind of tell from the footage I saw, but I am very surprised to hear it from you because DBD doesn't even phase you as a killer and we all know that people be crying 😢 all the time about playing killer in this game. That being said, that game has a Werewolf. So maybe it is worth if it comes to the king of platforms, ps4.

Dollmaster is kinda op, unlucky exp for you.
I have hope for VHS but it has some problems. The streamers i watched won +90% of monster games. And they were facing with exp teens. I don't know how to will be live version but if they keep like this, game can not survive. They should balance game and make fair for everyone. I will give chance after release.

I'm gonna be perfectly honest I really don't understand killer players leaving and acting like vhs is the new valhalla for killers. The game is everything killers complains about in this game ratcheted up to 11, it's literally the survivors objective to beat tf out of you.
This isn't to speak on the balance of the game cuz obviously I have no idea but I just wonder how the "killer is the power role" or the "we should all play fair and get lots of points" people are going to react to simultaneously getting burned, electrocuted, blessed, and cursed to death while the teens point and laugh at them.

If I down you as a monster in VHS and someone picks you up, you don't have any defense. You can hope someone had a weapon but that's it. And the weapons are not like some COD weapon you get 6000 shots on. If the monster downs you and someone picks you up, you can just be downed again or killed. In DBD, if someone unhooks me unsafely then I
Tank a hit with BT
Dodge another hit with DH
Take the third hit and then DS out and keep going.
There is no such equivilant in VHS. The game isn't loaded with second chances for the teens like how one survivor in DBD can have 3+ second chances as perks.
It takes a solid amount of time to make a weapon and it's one use. You do one damage state, it's gone. If the monster already had that damage state done to them, it only stuns them for a second or two, and again you lose the weapon. If it's a Wart and he shields, then you have to break the shield which immediately makes you lose your weapon and become defenseless. If it's a dollmaster, you'll need to waste weapons on the dolls and then spend even more time making more.
I have also seen no legit BM yet. You don't really have the time to sit there taunting upon doing one damage state. Neither does the monster when he downs people. Also the community being small right now means it may be a bad idea to go around being a DBD style jerk to everyone because you will play against a lot of the same people, and they will begin dodging you if you get a reputation.

Imo the game is in a ######### state right now with sbmm to blame for the most part.
I actually left a few weeks before the artist was released because the fun has been taken out completely for me.
Been playing since release on console and had great fun till then, had spend about 4k hours in it.
It's a shame to see the game going into this direction.

Yeah ikr! But they should balance as they can. If one side has +90% winrate, we can not talk about balance. And i am not even talking they need 4 Teen players & one Monster player for one match.
If they keep game like this, i am not seeing any future for this game. But this is why we have beta, i hope they fix all problems and then we can have alternative game of DbD.

I really doubt the no BM thing is going to continue into a public release so enjoy that while you can tbh, general public just sucks too much.
That being said on the rest fair enough but I still think the really coordinated SWF problem will be just as annoying in VHS as it is in this game and that might just be the nature of 4v1 games idk but I'll give VHS a chance when it comes out since DBD just feels bad even when you do well.

Hope VHS comes to Xbox Game Pass sometime so I can try it out. Yeah nerfing Twins again is just crazy I can't understand what they are thinking doing that to a killer that so few play.
