How many times have you encountered a cheater of any kind?
Doesn't matter how subtle their cheats were, or why they were cheating in the first place. If you've suspected someone of cheating but couldn't prove it, for the sake of this poll: they weren't cheating.

Many times (9+)
The sheer amount of hacks people try to pull when they think I can't see them is honestly astonishing.
I mean the sheer amount of times when they start a chase sprint bursting then I see them sprint burst(Or sprint bursting after using Dead Hard) again in the same chase the moment they fail the mind game at shack alone(Through the cracks in the wlls) or any kind of cracked wall is just kinda sad at this point.

Tbf I don't play much currently so it would be more if I did prolly.
Also who knows how many non obvious cheaters there are these days.

Once or twice
Extremely rarely. In my entire time playing over years, I have only seen cheaters once or twice ever.

Majority of the ones I've come across were either unsubtle cheating survivors I spotted in my solo que adventures or subtle cheaters I had the displeasure of facing off against as killer
Submitting tickets with video evidence does essentially always result in them being banned, but it's still a rampant and frankly ridiculous issue that plagues a game that's already got some fundemental problems going on at the moment.
If I were to count the ones my friends have told me of as well, then it would probably be in the 10+ in terms of encounters. Everything from 2 killer lobbies, game hostage holders and so on and so forth

In all of my time playing this game, I've only ran into 4 hackers.

I use to host a game of my own from ANOTHER title. Visually observing players is pretty easy to tell if they cheat or not. As it stands today. About 36% of the player base in all games have cheaters.
I understand Cheating will NOT go away, but the only real way to solve it is active Spectators from the company, that observe matches, Latency, input, Cursor movement, and can use spectator tools to see if someone is aiming through an otherwise visual obstruction such as a wall, or big boulder.
For us, back Then, if they were caught cheating. A person has to SUSPEND them from PUBLIC Match making and give them the reason why. Usually a 3-day for the first offense, a 1-week for the second offense, and a 30 day for the 3rd offense, 90-day for the Fourth, By then it generally Starts to give players a hint. If they come back and do it again. They got a 1 year suspension.

I've faced I want to say 6 hackers
- 3 lag switchers
- 1 no exhaustion person (Used Dead Hard and Lithe in the same chase)
- 1 infinite Head On person
- 1... I don't even know what to call what happened, I was playing Ghost Face and I spawned in to a trial with a bunch of Executioner Trail of Torment stuff was down? I don't even know, but I decided to farm with the survivors trying to sus out the hacker? I never figured it out but my game ended up crashing sooooo

1 Survivor and 1 Killer. To be fair they were not using classic cheats, they were just blatant lag switchers.
One was a pig, who at a certain point activated the lag switch.
She downed a person nearby the last gen me and 2 others were doing, then i see her starting moving in a straight line away from us, then few seconds later we were all downed.
The other was a Survivor, prevented me from hooking him. So i had to slug him multiple times (he had No Mither). He tried multiple times to use the lag switch to fake a crawl in a direction, but a learned the pattern and stayed near the original position i downed him. So eventually he bled out. On post-game chat he was not amused... 😁
Both these happened years ago, don't remember the status the game was on at the time (if Killer was still the host, or if dedicated servers were already a thing).

One time, I was playing on ormond as legion and ran into a bill that ran slightly faster than normal. Once I downed him, he gave zero ######### and went from subtle to blatant in seconds.

I've seen weird stuff, but can't confirm cheats
I see weird stuff sometimes, but IDK if it's cheating. The problem is that this game is so inconsistent that I never know if someone's hacking or if something's just broken.

Within my entire time playing the game I had only seen ~2 cheaters from plagues chapter to nemesis chapter, and then since then its been at least a dozen

I wont go for an option, I might have encountered around 10 Cheaters so far. But I would not call it many over almost 7000 hours.

I know the one time it was only 3 survivors and we had 2 killers.

I basically never faced cheaters before SBMM(or if I did, then they were too subtle for me to notice). Ever since the introduction of SBMM, the amount of cheaters, both blatant and subtle, have increased dramatically for me. I think I face about 2 or 3 cheaters every 50 or so games, which is quite a lot compared to what it used to be.

There's been many times when a killer might seem sus like MAYBE wallhack without a suitable perk for all the info they're getting. Nothing conclusive, but blatant obvious cheats? Just two times I think. Luckily. Instant heals and other one did a funny DBD escape speedrun.

I've only seen two blatant hackers so far, one was a Nea that was flashlight clicking, self hooking, etc. The other was a Pinhead that made everybody extremely laggy. All the console players d/ced and I was left in the match still, it was incredibly slow, could barely move. He then slugged me and stood over me waiting for me to bleed out because I refused to d/c. I could have had more hackers for all I know but not that I've been aware of.

I(thankfully) haven't had to deal with many cheaters. Or, at the absolute least, I've only seen a few who didn't even remotely try and hide it. For all I know, I could have multiple upon multiple cheaters that only boost their speed up to like, 102 or 103% as Survivor. No matter what though, it just astounds me that people are just that sad to have to use cheats in order to win. :/

Cheaters are few and far between - but also mechanics are so broken, it's very hard to pinpoint them.
I can complain that a survivor just popped a gen in 20 seconds from nothing, only to find out in post game lobby they brought Brand New Part, a strong toolbox, Prove Thyself, and Fast Track.
It's easy to start screeching about a survivor healing super fast, but circle of healing with a syringe is going to make that legit player look like they just got a free health state out of nowhere.
There have been plenty of cheaters that don't pass the turing test and are clearly using hacks, but while they crop up every now and again - I cannot for the life of me tell when someone is using subtle hacks to gain an edge, because perks, items, and game-sense make it hard to distinguish a bad-faith actor and a legitimately broken mechanic.
