Switch- Alert Perk not showing killer aura

I was playing Nancy Wheeler for a few rounds and ran with the Feng Min Alert Perk. The alert sound was triggered but the aura of the killer was never shown in any of the rounds I played with it.

- Character played: Nancy Wheeler, did not test on others
- Perks played: Alert and others
- Map: A handful
- Frequency of the issue: Consistent
