What is the point of legions power?

I think legions power is useless. It cannot down it does not have enough speed or time in use to be used for traversal of maps amd the deep wounds effect is a joke. I can't see what the use of legions power is can somebody tell me.

    Legion is confirmed to get a rework/change/update and is often said by the community to be a weak killer.

    though powers are not always meant to do the same thing, otherwise why even have different powers?

    Legions power at this point is more or less meant to injure multiple survs and keep them injured/busy for a longer time.
