It's time to fight dirty.
I always see these posts complaining about op stuff. "Nerf this, nerf that." But how about, we just use it. Use DS and unbreakable, facecamp the survivors, tunnel, bodyblock, genrush, just do it all. Fight dirty, and you won't have to complain anymore.

Pretty sure everyone already does that.

Everyone does it already.
but the feedback is still kinda necessary if you actually want things acknowledged/changed.

Fighting dirty is kind of a given if you care about getting kills or escaping. Eventually, MMR will force you to unless you're okay with throwing games. It's a game mechanic issue.

I'm mostly talking about streamers. I see a lot of them playing with imaginary rules and complaining when people don't follow them. When they could just adapt and win.

A mixture of not finding camping and tunneling fun and having that oh so rare trait of empathy?

And get matched with people doing the same thing, who treat dbd like it's a job that they don't even enjoy? Pass

Where have you been?
That sounds like every game I play.

Maybe it's just the games I used to play, but games and their players were slot more unapologetic. And the game communities were chill. It's just jarring to see people walking on egg shells to not upset the other guy playing.

I haven't played in a few months and just peruse the forums, so if anything changes I wouldn't know lol.

Literally was about to say the same thing.

Gotcha.
Yeah, I tried playing chill for a while after SBMM, no killing and no escapes.
But my teammates and competition became way to noob like to enjoy.
So went back to killing and escaping, and it's all sweats again.
Can't find a middle ground

I still sometimes get sweats but what mostly works for me is alternating every hook (so no survivor can possibly die before five hooks - if I see the survivor I just hooked I slug them and leave them for their teammates to pick up while I patrol gens), running meme builds, and, if I haven't secured a kill before all the gens pop I just open the gates and try to maximize BP.
It's weird for a PvP game but actively trying to win feels more like a punishment than a reward right now. By doing above I don't get total potatoes and I also get less sweat squads so the games are more fun.

My guess would be because this game is asymmetric, and it is one of the few games out there that are.
That means that most people realize that if the player base for either side just disappears the game dies. Since we don't have many if any good options to move to if that happens, people have a larger interest in keeping the game afloat by not being jerks to the other side.
