Dead hard and nemesis tentacle working as intended?
When playing Nemi and using the tentacle at tier 2 or more over a dropped pallet usually one of two things happens:
I hit the survivor and they take an infection/health state as appropriate, and the pallet doesn’t break.
I miss the survivor and the pallet breaks instead.
There is a third situation that I am wondering if it is supposed to happen:
I hit the survivor, but they were using dead hard so I get validated (my game acts like it was a hit for a fraction of a second before the server updates to show it wasn’t). In this case the pallet does not break, and I also did not infect a survivor, despite using the tentacle over a dropped pallet.
So my question is should this happen? Or do I need to submit a bug report?

I think this should count as a bug but DH hit validation is messy either way and I think there are also some adjustments in the upcoming Midchapter update..
so I would create a bug report tbh (if there is not currently one, if so then upvote the existing one)
