Breaking a boon totem can cause NOED to be unusable
Thinking how many times Survivors are blessing during the game and how many Hex perks they are going against.
Most of the time I play against 3 Hex perks; 2 of them are Ruin and Noed.
If Boon is going to be breakable I think COH is going to counter Noed completely. Survivors can "abuse" every totem to heal and at the same time gain the advantage of destroying Noed before the end game.
What do you think?

Well they would be broken boons or not.

Ive seen noed replace a boon on final gen being popped. Gotta remember tho noed is a last ditch effort perk designed for teams that are too altruistic. Its something thats truthfully only countered by cleansing every totem on the map which takes a lot of work and a map unless you dont know where to look

nah, people used to count to 5 all the time, you don't see it as much now because people want to leave behind the totems for CoH boons (or to avoid pentimento, which can get disgusting with enough stacks)

Seriously, I don't understand why people act like finding 5 totems in a map is an epic effort. There's a dozen spawn points per map (about half of which are right next to generator spawn points), only 5 are used, and if another survivor clears the totem first you can still see the bones laying on the ground. Just count to 5, then if you see NOED activate, find the lit one and remove it. That simple.

That's not abuse, that's just diligence. They found and did all 5 totems.
That said, I've always supported concurrent abilities to snuff and break (so that killers running Plaything or NOED have the option to preserve the totem.)

Boons needs change but if they make them breakable, they should not be loud anymore. But i would add cool-down.

I don’t know how you would think that someone blessing a totem makes NoEd unuseable when in reality if they didn’t have CoH they would just… cleanse it?
If anything you should thank them that they are blessing it and not actually cleansing it, because if they were chances are No Ed wouldn’t even activate, period.
Blessing it is a better scenario for you because it means they could have left the totem alone in hopes to use it as a CoH totem.

NOED cannot replace a boon on final gen. What is likely happening is the killer knows where the boon is and stomps it out just before final gen, ensuring NOED pops.
That said, if the killer can break the totem, it will be nothing more than a choice. If they jave NOED loaded, they will likely just stomp on it. There is nothing exploited here. Dull totems used to be cleansed all the time, boons stopped that. NOED got stronger with boons and Pentimento.

Let's say the Killer can break Boon totems.
As long as he breaks the Boon, he will have no more for NOED. (Assuming the survivors are blessing every totem they see.)
