Wiggle pause while being carried?

Hi,

Just wondered if some people can answer a question for me or if its a shadow Nerf. So i was playing a game as survivor and i was running a sabotage build (Was using toolbox, saboteur and breakout) and i was going in for saves and normally with breakout if i don't manage to Sab the hook the survivor normally is able to wiggle off if the killer swings a few times and i block him but the survivors were staying being carried longer than i expected. I was downed and then i got carried and survivors were trying to get me off but every time the killer was swinging at the survivors my wiggle meter would stop for a second and even at the end of the wiggle it would still pause so i eventually got hooked even though normally i could of wiggled off. The killer had the perk 'Mad Grit' however that perk only stops the wiggle meter for 3 seconds after the killer lands a basic attack on the survivors. In this case, the killer wasn't landing basic attacks on survivors whilst i was being carried and my wiggle meter still stopped for like 1-2 seconds each time resulting in me getting hooked and also me not being able to help other team mates when they were being carried. I might be being dumb or is it possibly a shadow nerf? Thank you

Killers can only basic attack with a survivor on his shoulder. If he was doing damage, then mad grit was triggering.

Thats the thing he wasn't doing damage to the other survivors.

If your wiggle was being paused even on missed attacks, please report that as a bug on the bug report sub section as that really shouldn't happen - you are correct, it's only when the killer makes a successful hit on a survivor that the timer should pause with Mad Grit, other than that, the killers missed attacks should just have no cooldown but not affect your wiggle bar.
