Just bad luck or too many pallets?

Not sure if it's just me or the maps I play have a pallet at nearly every tile. I vividly remember a Dead Dawg Saloon game where there was both a pallet right outside main and one right outside Killer Shack less than 15 feet from each other. Just played a game on Eyrie of Crows and I think there was only one tile without a pallet too.

Maybe I'm just bad but it feels really difficult to play against this many pallets.

Maps are full with pallets, you are not unlucky. This is just reality. This is why killers are losing so much time because so much pallets.

But Dead Dawg is not bad. This map has not great pallets, you can mindgame most of them. I just hate main building on this map but it is only strong spot except Shack.

Picking a killer that can ignore or circumvent pallets is a must. If you're rocking Myers or Ghostface, you're getting either pre-palleted till the cows come home, or if they're a good looper, lapped several times and then pallet stunned till the cows come home.

Either way, the cows are coming home.

I don't like Dead Dawg that much since it ######### up my Punishments lol

The unfortunate thing is I am playing a killer that can circumvent them but I'm still struggling with pallets a lot. I'm not able to callout Survivors dodging my Punishments rn outside of being stuck in animation, and I can't always tell when a Survivor is gonna camp a pallet and throw it or just run away.

The only suggestion I can make to that is force them to throw it. Play the M1 if it's that close so they take the hit or they drop.

Its lose/lose either way, but at least this way the pallet is pulled.

You are correct. This is my experience. In August 2021 or somewhere around that time the game had an update as a result of which they added more pallets to each map. You could feel the difference if you constantly played killer. So now every survivor is able to waste so much of your time by just learning basic looping on YT because there's always one pallet around the corner. Thus, most of the games are lost if you have people that can at least loop you by gen rushing. You'll get a bunch of hooks or maybe even a kill but the problem is you have to have weak survs to decisively win. The game is not balanced. A game is balanced when either side with the same skill level can turn the match in ones favor dependent on small things such as timing, small mistakes, etc. In DBD you have a situation where 4 skilled survs will win just by the virtue of the map design and the amount of pallets a map has to offer. You remember back in the day playing surv you were a lil stressed out while being chased by killer because you knew you didnt have that many pallets/vaults around the corner, well know you dont have that feeling simply because theres an abundance of pallets. Playing killer is way more scary and stressful nowadays. The community and devs are tilting games balance into survs favor. Why?
