Lost all hope after the last Q&A

I have played Dbd for years, through ups and downs. Took many breaks, at times the game was in a horrible state (bug wise). What made me return after each time was hope. The core gameplay of Dbd is really simple but good, surely the people responsible for making this great game would eventually move it in a good direction for the playerbase ( writing as a long time player).

There is the huge hacking problem, we are working on it but we wont tell you, because hackers could use that for their advantage, doesn't cut it. (its not like the dbd hackers are some geniuses that need to be outsmarted, there are guys that read simple tutorials where they change some numbers in the gamefiles, like the stretched res guys do, to gain for example a wallhack with certain perks, or more movespeed etc, dbd s anticheat is a joke)

A lot of their redesigned maps are beyond good and evil, cornfield you can chain strong tiles into each other until all gens are done, rpd - who thought it was a good idea and fun to play in a maze, haddonfield, springfield etc etc.

Everyone and their dog knows that going for split pressure, getting many hooks is a more interesting playstyle, more fun for survivors , rather than tunneling, and (proxy) camping hooks.

Yet the devs make a skill based matchmaking system that rewards players for getting kills rather than hooks for example. In the eyes of the devs, a killer that facecamps the first down and then finishes off the second guy with noed after all gens are done and facecamps him, which takes 0 skill, is more skillful than a killer , that trys to enjoy the game and wants the survivor to have a good experience too, that goes for splitpressure, gets many downs and hooks, but maybe gets 1k or even 0.

They make a extremely strong perk, boon coh, that lets survivors self heal , forcing killers to commit to chases instead of going for single hits and split pressure.

After this Q&A there is no hope left, its a pity because the core gameplay of Dbd is great.

Still it was a good time, not regretting anything.

This actually isn't strictly true; actual script kiddies do this, yes, but they only purchase the hacks off of those who actually create them. In order to create a bypass for EAC it takes at least some technical knowledge that has to be outsmarted- which is why everyone charges for them instead of making them free like that one guy did back in 2.1.0.
