what is forever freddy?
i asked this streamer how come i never met Freddy as survivor even tho I've been playing for a long time , he said since they nerfed forever Freddy everyone stopped playing him

Freddy used to have add ons that slowed action speeds while you were in the dream world and combining them together or combining one with Red Paint Brush was seen as an incredibly boring killer to go against because games would last “forever.” They removed the slow down add ons in 4.7.0 thankfully.

perks:
Ruin + Undying (or PGTW)
Thanatophobia + Dying Light (or Tinkerer)
Add-ons:
Old Swing Chains (action penalty speed multiplied for every survivor in the dream world) + Jump rope (more slow down penalty) or Red Paint Brush
put these together and you have VERY long games for both sides.

As someone who is still a Freddy main to this day, I always found this funny. Forever Freddy simply made games last 10-15 minutes instead of 5-10 minutes like they do now lol. And because of the complaining, Freddy's addons went from good to trash tier along with his powers being indirectly nerfed due to the alarm clock change.
The most interesting part to think about is that the devs basically took Freddy's slow down addons and repackaged them as Hex Pentimento. So now I just use a full hex build with Pentimento to achieve basically the same thing as before when it comes to slow down.

After which, many survivors would be begging for the sweet release of death and then willingly throw themselves on the hook.
