Survivor's bleedout meter
Is severely underutilized in the killer's arsenal of perks and addons. Survivors have plenty of means to combat the slug state individually and as a team, killers have few perks or benefits outside of the slugged state itself.

New Killer: The Bloodletter
When he shanks you, you bleed out 20s faster for each hook state you got and each 20s slugged progress your hook progression by one state.

I think they dont want to touch the bleeding on the ground part. We have perks that able to see slugged as Killer, Sloppy (does it affect recovering?), Unbreakable, Tenacity... but nothing about the bleeding meter.

I doubt the devs want to make slugging more popular. It's worse than being camped

I have a feeling the bleedout timer is as long as it is because the devs don't want to incentivize the mechanic that much. Nobody enjoys being slugged for extended periods.

Honestly, since there's still the Silent Survivor bug; I wish Deerstalker would be base kit.
I'm tired of Survivors crawling into a corner when I chase their friends away from a flashlight save, then getting put on blast for 'slugging'. It's not my fault the game did not give me the dying state sounds. 😑

Sometimes slugging is the right choice for the situation, just think it would be nice to see some utilization outside of the survivor laying there. Personally I find knockout great for forcing solo survivors off gens to search.
Besides, the length of time spent slugged is on teammates. If your there for a long time that's just bad altruism.

Bleedout timer is fine as is.

I think survivors should get an ability when they're slugged. The bleeding sled.
If two seconds elapse before getting picked up the survivor can rip themselves and cause a gush of blood that they can slide away on. Pair it with Tenacity and off they go like a little penguin.
