PC - Cannibal's Chainsaw locked midway through game

Played Cannibal in public match, on map the game.
Used Dying Light, Franklins Grasp, BBQ, and Whispers
During a chase, a survivor dropped a pallet on me while I was using chainsaw sprint. They timed it correctly, and it stunned me rather than breaking. Afterwards, though, my chainsaw Icon in the lower left was replaced with a tantrum icon with a 0 charge. The icon did not have a cool down, or a charge up, and whenever I tried to rev the chainsaw, it instead just clicked and did nothing. This lasted until the end of the game.
