No Hatch In Backwater Swamp?
I searched the whole map while the remaining surviving finished the generators and their was no hatch. The Icon was in the lower left corner saying it was open however I never found it. I check the outer perimeter, every structure, every rock formation and nothing. I could think of no where else to look. It wasn't in any of the usual spots for that map.
Anyone ever have this happen before?

Yeah, i remember something like this happening to me as well, it was recent but im not sure if that survivor escaped or if there really was no hatch

I'm pretty sure it was there, sometimes it appears in weird spots.

Must have been a UI bug as the hatch doesn't spawn unless there is only one survivor left now

Maybe beneath the map or in the sky? :P
I could not think of anywhere else to look. The survivor was even looking for a time and nothing before they started back up on generator(s) and I kept looking. I never found it and I can't think of any place on that map I left untouched.

Their was only one survivor left. They had to complete the generators on their own. I was nice enough to let them do it. Plus I got to keep searching for the hatch.

Yea I was the killer. I frequently let the last one go. More time consuming if neither of us can find the hatch.

If it’s the one I’m thinking if I’ve had trouble finding the hatch on that specific map sometimes too. I think the hatch can spawn under the large pier but that area is kind of confusing and it might be too deep in to hear it from the outside.

I've not found the hatch on this map many times before, but I'm sure that's just because I couldn't find it rather than that it actually wasn't spawned. It can spawn in some unusual spots on that map, including the literal corner of the map.

sometimes it spawns in the corner and you have to be really close to the corner to hear it.

It usually spawned in the big boat house where the crows lies. The other time is in that small area where that pallet is under the stair case. I'm not sure on the other spawns it has on that map.

Yeah it can spawn right on the edges of the map, which doesn't happen on other maps so it can be really hard to find
