Game Crashed - 4 hour ban??

Game crashed and just re-opened to see a 4 hour ban. How is this possible? Was in a match, as killer and I don't think anyone did anything malicious. Game crashed to desktop for me. Please assist!
PC, excessive ban for a game crash, this has never happened before.

DC penalties stack, so the more times you DC from a match (for whatever reason, game crash, you quit etc), the disconnection penalty increases.
