Did you guys know that mobile has some great QoL that could be implemented in the base game?
Ok, so, i was a mobile player a long time ago, recently I moved to the pc version, and I noticed some differences and some things that I think the mobile version does better, I will list them below:
Daily Tasks
Unlike the base game, the mobile version has 5 daily tasks, which reset every day, and give you more rewards besides BP, such as addons, shards and on rare occasions, auric cells. There is also a weekly version, with more difficult tasks that only reset in a week, and give more rewards.
Bots
Yes, thats right. You can out bots in your custom game. You can place any killer or survivor bots you have. Do you have legion unlocked? You can play against him as a killer whenever you want, and so on. The same with survivors, you also can adjust the AI level.
You can see your team's perks before the match
This is pretty self explanatory, cool feature. This also work with items and addons (the killer cant see, they just see which survivor you are playing).
A button to look back immediately
You press, and immediately look back as you run forward. This button would help a lot of newbies and console gamers. Just for survivors, obviously.

Never tried the mobile version, but these are cool! Surprised they haven't been implemented yet.

Seeing your teammate's perk loadouts pre-game is a really good addition that I desperately hope the PC version gets soon.

Remember folks the mobile version is done by an entirely different team, and was completely recoded from the ground up. Lots of these admittedly very cool things cannot be done on our version, or are at least are a ways off due to the coding.
I would hope it gets added to us consolers as well. If they're serious about getting solos closer to swf than this is a must imo.

When mobile has better game quality then the PC version around for much longer

Yeah, I tried out the mobile version last month while I was out of town and all the features you mentioned are great. 🙂 The only thing I didn't like about mobile is the controls are super awkward, at least for killer. You move with your left thumb, pan the camera with your right thumb, but also need to use your right thumb to do attacks and use abilities. So when I play Doctor for instance it means I have a choice between turning and using Shock. I can't turn simultaneously while I use Shock, it's kind of frustrating. I had SO many chases where I knew 100% I would have downed a survivor really quickly on PC but couldn't do jack on mobile.
So kudos to the people who have the patience to stick it out as killer with those controls, I'm just not one of them, which is a bummer because the mobile version is otherwise pretty great.

More things mobile has that PC and Console don't:
-Mobile gives you auric cells for prestiging
-There's a little queue status thing that tells you how killer and survivor queues are doing. Sadly, it's not too accurate.
-Bloodhunts which give double bloodpoints and character xp on certain killers and survivors (mobile uses a system where you unlock perks for killers by playing them and getting XP) that happen pretty consistently
-Reward calendars that can give you add ons, offerings, auric cells, bloodpoints, and iridescent shards that happen weekly

yeah, you need to get used to strafing instead of panning the camera as you lunge and move in general.

Right, the thing is on PC I can both strafe and turn simultaneously, it's way more effective.

very true.

BHVR just pretend that basic programming “can’t be done” with DBD but it’s nonsense. They simply don’t want to invest any time or money into things like seeing perks before the match, loadouts etc.
0 -
Yeah I don’t know why they don’t allow us to see other teammates’ perks. It’s long overdue.
3 -
Yeah, the mobile version has some things in it that PC and console players have been asking for years for. Makes you wonder why that is till you remember its a different company that makes and supports the mobile version.
2 -
Yeah, but the pc version still has more content. On mobile there are few maps, and some killers and survivors haven't gotten there yet

I play on console and I don't have a problem looking behind me.

It's a ######### big buff for survivors, keep that in mind.
0 -
It'll only help soloq players, who are at a pretty hefty disadvantage right now. It's a good idea.

mobile has visual indicators for gen sounds, doesn't it? i'd really like to see an option for that in main dbd considering how awful the audio occlusion in this game is
0 -
I know use to play mobile,
0 -
yes, but not only generator sounds, it also has a visual representation for grunts of pain, terror radious, lullabys and the hatch
0 -
It's not soloqs are on disadvantage, It's SWFs are having excessive advantage to the point of cheating.
So no, killers has to get some compensation even for buffs like this.
0 -
It's really not. Voice comms aren't cheating, they're a reality of game design. The Killer role may need some love (and it does!) but it's not a strict one-to-one like that.
1 -
Just looking at what it is by every element, you'll know it is.
Call it whatever people want but people has to know voice comm does give completely unintended and unfair advantage with the help of out-game tools.
Probably a faulty of the game design for sure.
0 -
The point is more that that's completely irrelevant. You cannot stop people from using voice comms, the methods you'd have to use to even try would be ridiculously draconian and invasive and it'd rightfully kill the interest for a huge majority of people.
Voice comms are a thing that exist and will be used. The game must be balanced around them, because there isn't an alternative.

Wait.. a different company? Which one is it?
i just thought it was a different dev team but still BHVR?
0 -
Just because people play with friends doesn't mean they'll stomp you, people need to stop asking for a boost to killer speed or even bonus bloodpoints just because they played against a SWF. And comms aren't cheating, everyone and their mom uses Discord when playing with friends. If you don't, then you're really making it harder on yourself for no good reason. Step down your pedestal and join the rest of us.

Oh you know what I think you are right it's just a completely different dev team
