The pig needs a rework
The pig is an example of an unhealthy killer because of her traps. Bounding the survivor or the killer but simple luck is stupid. On one hand the survivor shouldnt have to be running up and down the map just trying to find a damn box that unlocks the trap and the killer should have to rely on luck so that the survivor doesnt get the trap off. If the survivor gets the trap off first try that screws over the killer because their ability is useless now and if the survivor gets it off on their last try, they spent precious time on boxes when they needed to be completing generators. Overall a bad experience on both sides and the killer needs a rework

So killers shouldn't have gimmick to be interesting they should just be survivors with an attack button?

Be careful with what you wish for.

Agreed. We need to remove her traps. They're absolutely monstrous at high MMR.

Stop just stop
For some reason the devs take posts like this seriously
And we need to stop making troll posts

No. No to all of that.
" the survivor shouldnt have to be running up and down the map just trying to find a **** box that unlocks the trap"
That's the secondary objective when you face a Pig, something that actually means you won't spend a match against a competent Pig player holding M1 on a gen the entire game. The traps are a form of game slowdown for The Pig that is desperately needed for someone who's a basic M1 killer (except for the Ambush Dash), and it's a mechanism that would be nice for other weaker killers on the roster to have something similar.
"the killer should[n't] have to rely on luck so that the survivor doesn't get the trap off"
People who play The Pig know that it's not about the survivors getting the trap off -- barring very bad luck, or a complete misplay by survivors (or possibly add-ons like TT/COG or the new Video Tape/Rules Set), a Pig player EXPECTS that the traps will come off. Again, it's about slowing the gens down by forcing survivors to do a secondary objective, not about head pops.
In no scenario are the traps game-breaking. Really good survivors, or competent ones facing a struggling Pig, will work around the traps and will have no problem completing the gens and leaving. Really good Pigs will use the slowdown of the traps, juggle who to pressure when traps are active, and will still be able to win -- and without tunneling someone with a trap (doing so being, usually, the wrong thing to do). Luck on traps can help, but even bad RNG is still stall time.
"If the survivor gets the trap off first try that screws over the killer because their ability is useless now"
Again, that's still time that the trap kept that person from presumably working on gens. Not useless at all, even if a trap comes off on first try.
"if the survivor gets it off on their last try, they spent precious time on boxes when they needed to be completing generators"
That's kind of the point, and again, competent survivors will still be able to escape regardless. Unless you want to play gen repair simulator, that is.
"Overall a bad experience on both sides and the killer needs a rework"
You're entitled to your opinion, but a lot of people who put time into her like playing The Pig, and a lot of people like going against her, because the experience is different than the huge majority of the killer roster. She could use some help with her stealth (the worst of the stealth killers) and further help with her Ambush Dash (an underrated part of her kit that, used properly, can be very effective), but she definitely does NOT need a complete rework.

I'll give them credit they changed the add ons that made 5 boxes and not enough time to search them. If a crouching pig follows me one more time I'm just gonna sit on her.

I said rework, not remove. A gimmick is cool, every killer has one in their own way but when it relies on luck then its not a good experience for both sides. The pig has a casino type playstyle where if in an equal skill match, luck will determine the winner.

In the same patch they gave her probably the most trolly killer add on in the entire game. Kind of funny. You can't head pop people with timer+crate anymore but you can equip vhs tape, rule set number 2, and just crouch infront of a box.
Which is apparently very skillful if it nets you kills.

Its not troll. Pig rework is in the best intrest of the game, for the experience of both roles

That's not the pigs fault that's because BHVR has a fetish for rng that I'm surprised we haven't had people make comparisons to this company and EA.

Most skillful killer in the game.

Not really, she just needs buffs, or to stop getting nerfed every other patch. Her slowdown makes her one of the most fun to play against, really they just need to buff her. Not her add ons or traps. Her. That would be swell.
Anyways, I eagerly await to see what her next nerf is.

This. Buffs is all she needs. We probably won't get any though...

Buff her curve.

Not going to lie, the fishnet in the new Tome skin is the best thing that has happened to Pig in DBD. I believe I speak for everyone when I say this.

Love this 😍

I have a different complaint about Pig.
She is the MOST stealthiest character in all of DBD, by far, to the point I don't like playing against her at all.
Ghostface is not as bad, and neither is Myers, or Legion.
But Pig is legit ninja status until she is already on top of you.
