What killers got hurt worst by COH
I think legion was prob gutted most by COH's existence
Comments

Any of the M1s.
I play hag and it's pretty annoying.
11 -
Any M1 killer, especially any without an instadown. 3 gen strat doesn't even work anymore if the survivors have two brain cells to rub together.
5 -
Any 110 speed killers. Sad Deathslinger noises.
3 -
I think you can make slinger work pretty good nowadays
0 -
Legion, their main power is spreading damage, CoH main thing is making spread damage strats much less effective.
4 -
I'm done trying to explain the absurdity that is Deathslinger to people who look at him based on their anecdotal experience.
You do you.
1 -
Probably Twins and Hag. Seems like they indirectly nerf Twins every patch.
7 -
ive been having fun with him. whenever i fake my shots and get a hit in i feel big brain
0 -
They are probs nerfing twins on purpose so they can delete them whenever all 4 twins mains stop playing them
0 -
Wraith and Twins. Wraith relies on hit and run because he's bad at getting the second hit, and Twins are nearly powerless when there's no injured survivors running around.
Legion as well, for the same reason as Wraith, but Legion gets a little more slowdown out of the deal because CoH doesn't affect mending.
2 -
Why they had to do my man phillip like this😭
1 -
Smh BHVR.
2 -
Oni, any set up killers like hag and trapper, then hit and run killers such as wraith
4 -
Spread pressure as a whole died.
6 -
that is the only theory i can come up with for why bhvr always nerfs twins lmao. Im pretty sure they have never gotten a buff? tho i may be wrong on that

Care to explain?

Any killer that can only do damage Via M1, and have no mobility enhancement/ranged attack. Basically, If you can do damage/down survivors, or catch up to them quickly with your power, CoH, while still irritating, isn't nearly as bad for you as it is for the rest.
Myers, Trapper, Doc, Clown, Pig, Ghost Face, and Twins all feel the hurt caused by CoH harder than the others because they all share the same issue: their primary method of Damage is done via M1 strikes, and they have no range attacks or mobility enhancement to catch up to survivors. You could argue about a few of them like Twins having a super fast victor running around, but their primary modus operandi is Slug based play, CoH heavily counters them. Clown is also arguable with this since he has his tonics that either speed him up or slow survivors down, but overall his lack of map pressure and focus on 1v1 makes him pretty miserable already, and CoH just adds more pain when playing him.
Hag's hurting from CoH as well, but only because of her default lower than avg movement speed, which is supposed to be compensated for by her ability to teleport to her traps, but honestly all a survivor has to do is put up a boon near the edge of the map and flee to it while she's hopping around the map, and she will never get to them in time to get a down before they heal.
While the rest of the killers can deal with CoH decently enough, and the Instant Down killers have a decided edge against it, there's really only 1, who by existing, heavily counters CoH: Plague. Her entire kit is based around crippling the Healing Meta, so naturally CoH has very little power over her. What can I say, with her recent buffs introduced right before the boons and CoH, It's a good time to be a Plague main... That is until enough people whine about how OP she is against all healing perks/items, and the devs cave in to make it so that her infection status no longer leaves you broken, but instead puts a timer on you so that every time you heal you have 120 seconds before the infection gets back to full and injures you again.
Sigh... I should stop giving the devs Ideas.

imo as long as you can get used to his new ads you can do pretty much do as well as old slinger
0 -
Out of all the killers you listed i def think ghostie was hurt the least
1 -
Basically anyone except the one who is extremely fast at chase or instadown survivors.
0 -
He has the Stealth advantage, but that's literally all he has going for him. Otherwise, Unless you are actively marking and downing every survivor without being broken out of stealth, he's still a basic M1 killer, and susceptible to all of the problems they have regarding map pressure. He may be the Least hurt of those I listed, but compared to Huntress, Nurse, Oni, hell even Nemesis, he still has a much harder time dealing with CoH.

Legion
0 -
Well he is now slow as molasses so thanks to the map design how can you use his ADS well.
1 -
ive been able to stalk a survivor in chase and while they are staring at me and not get revealed

Did BHVR think there were going to be any Twins mains when they designed that killer? Did anyone really think, "What great character design. Everybody's going to want to play as these guys!"
I mean, I don't outright hate them or anything. They're nowhere near as horrible as Trickster, who should never have been added to the game in the first place, but at least I understand Trickster's appeal. K-pop has a following. I just don't understand what kind of person would want to play Twins every game.

Using your ads to bait surviors during loops is probably the best use of ads imo
1 -
The most hilarious thing about how inconsistent his break out is, is that it doesn't work when intended, but stretch res can literally do it over obstacles where they should have zero LoS. A bug so great it only works as intended when completely not working as intended.
1 -
That's good, as his Reveal mechanic has been very temperamental due to how it's a 2d area of the survivors screens that can be blocked by objects and even their own survivor models, but if you go up against the sweaty, stretched res + filter players, which expands that 2d area and allow them to reveal GF over walls or head height objects, GF is in for a world of hurt. If the Devs had made it an invisible 3d model, like a super long flashlight that expands to the survivors entire FoV, it would've been more consistent at revealing him, and have better rules for it too in that a survivor couldn't reveal him without first presenting a target. Take advantage of how it currently works while you can, but otherwise I still don't see how he's any better than the others I listed due to his M1 centered restrictions, However if you are finding that CoH isn't a problem for you when you play him, good on you, and I'm sure people would like some advice about how to deal with CoH while playing GF.

yea im basically playing ghostie like myers, 99ing their exposed meter then popping it when they are in a bad spot
0 -
CoH can actually be beneficial for him if you're running Nurse's. If you know where it is, you can turn your terror radius off after hitting a couple of survivors and go camp the area.
I agree that he and the other stealth killers were hurt least, for this reason.
0 -
Twins and hag i would say
1 -
i think its funny af that hooked survivors are better at revealing than normal survivors
0 -
Twins easily. You're already basically forced to slug with them to make up for the time it takes to switch from Victor to Charlotte, walk possibly half a 5K to a downed survivor, and then hook them. Between CoH and Exponential, the survivor will be up and fully healed before the player is halfway there.

Legion, Hag, Wraith, any 110% speed killer.
0 -
Killers who can’t alway end chases and rely on hit and run
0 -
Stealth Killers didnt get that hurt from CoH, if you play stealth either you get an instadown or a free first hit, usually there is no point on leaving whoever you got damaged with the free hit and chase someone else, what for? you got spotted and everyone is on the run, if you chase the injured one you may get a down quite fast, if you go after someone else you may lose 100 seconds.
I main Myers and Jigsaw and I rarely spread damage because its just not worth it, not before CoH nor after it.

In no particular order,
Wraith, Hag, Legion, Twins, Ghostie, Trapper, Oni, and probably a few others I'm not remembering rn.
0 -
probaply Oni.
cause he likes Survivors being injured a lot, so CoH is like a big middlefinger to his entire power.
an honorable mention goes out to any Killer that is trying to pull of a hit and run playstyle (e.g. Wraith) or tries to quickly spread damage around (e.g. Legion).
0 -
Legion, Twins, Oni and Wraith imo.
0 -
Probably Twins. They simply do not have time to deal with them and that unbreakable boon is actually a threat to them.
1 -
Luckily Bubba, the best killer in the game, was not affected by COH
1 -
Absolutely. I do not even notice they have it. Such matters are trivial and I do not need to bother with them. That is king behavior, right there.
1 -
Imagine having to down someone in two attacks Omegalul
2 -
*Slaps you in the face with a oversized freash fish*
No BAD don't do that. Bad bad....now go to the corner and think about what you have done.
0 -
Any m1 based killer and twins.
0 -
Remember when they first came out and you could just jump in a locker to avoid Victor and he couldn't do anything about it? They changed that by letting Victor hold them in the locker temporarily. That's the only time they've gotten a buff lol

Bruh

Every killer got hurt by CoH the perk remove a playstyle that killer rely on but now because of CoH its only tuneling and camping that work.

I would suggest that the territorial killers (Hag & Trapper in particular) have been hit the hardest. It's trivially easy for survivors to set up CoH on the far side of the map from the killer's trapped territory thus forcing them to either constantly lose progress as a hit survivor hoofs it over to Boon-Town - if they follow to down them then they leave their trapped area and become solely M1 killers without mobility or they let them go and lose the effort/time put into the chase. It's even worse if they trudge halfway across the map to snuff the boon as it will be back up in less than 30 seconds once they turn to trudge back to their trapped area.
CoH is a lose-lose proposition for territorial killers.

Sigh, yes, I apologize for giving the devs ideas. I'll go to my corner now... heck, This is about as bad as when I almost told them that they should give killers kick on gens a 10% damage by default, and make survivors have to repair the gen for 2 seconds to stop regression... or worse, when I nearly let it slip that the gates should progress .25 charges per second regardless of survivor interaction to make the gates automatically open after 80 seconds of inactivity (after they've been powered of course), and less if there's been any on them in order to start the EGC sooner, or that other time I thought it would be more fair to survivors if they could interrupt a mori animation to save their friend at the cost of 1 health state by simply running up and kicking them as the animation started. Hell I really shouldn't have said it would be fun to have a killer that switches between multiple characters back in 2018 and a revised version in 2019, but now we're stuck with the Twins, who are undoubtedly the MOST OPRESSIVE KILLER in the game!
sigh... I understand, I won't do it anymore. I'm sorry.
/s
(for that last one, yeah, I feel i done goofed there with one of my killer concepts back in the day... here's the link if you think I'm lying:
