Does any other Killer main feel like this?
I'm unashamedly a killer main with nearly 2000 hours. I'm not a them vs us person because I too play survivor and can usually hold my own to a degree. However I play at reasonably high MMR which I know does not represent all matches for people.
I used to get tea bagged while I learnt Nurse which was my first killer I reached old rank one with. I now play a mix of all killers with no particular main.
The point of the thread is that I do seem to find that nearly every single match I'm having to really sweat just to get 3-4k most games. I'm not expecting to get those results and truth be told I would be happy with any result. But the main thing is the games just dont feel fun and chill.
I love games that are just not so sweaty and all gens dont go in less than 5 mins and I nearly always let people go if the games go like this because I've had such a great time.
Contrary to this, I usually start off chilled and relaxed each game but (to my shame) I do get goaded by people being toxic and I dont mean strats like body blocking, sabo etc. I mean tea bagging, pointing etc. I rise to it because I know I can catch and hook them most of the time.
This changed the flow of the game from fun for both sides to just sweaty boredom.
Even 4ks felt like this feel hollow because I had to play dirty (I dont mean camping because camping is a terrible strat most of the time) but tunneling and just being a knob.
Anybody else feel like this? Killer or Survivor

I actually get more angry at BT body blocks than all the dunking and clicking. My challenge could be "get 4 unique hooks" and I will tunnel that Borrowed Time jester into the shadow realm. How DARE they? Get in my way with your immortality and expect me to play nice after that? No, no, no, no. It doesn't work that way. I will smash them on hook in hopes a teammate dares to give them orrowed time again so that I can purposely disrespect it.
Ahem, I digress. It doesn't make me feel hollow to play dirty. It kind of turns me on.

I do notice from my survivor gameplay that, due to CoH making taking a health state kinda trivial, body blocking is much more prevalent. I know because I engage in it too, albeit to get stacks of WGLF!

I feel you, that's why i mainly play survivor now.
For me, the problem wasn't that i needed to sweat for a certain result, it was that, with killer matches, i need to be focused the whole time to chase and make decision.
While for survivor matches you have some down time here and there to relax, be it while on gens/healing/hook.

I started to post a reply but the moderators seemingly deem anything too offensive for the forum. I give up, time to let this game die.
Can't say anything anymore, people are too thin skinned

They try to hide our frustration to don't affect others but it's useless anyway cuz everyone's gonna feel the same way at some point

I mean I went from playing variety killer to playing like the handful of killers who can actually pose a threat to good survivors. I used to be a ghostface main and now I feel like I can't even play him anymore because he is obsolete. Which hurts, it does.
I guess I have to spam blight and nurse like the devs want.

"The point of the thread is that I do seem to find that nearly every single match I'm having to really sweat just to get 3-4k most games."
But I mean, do you expect to 4k with little to no effort every game? Because that isn't really balanced either.

If you were always getting 3-4 kills without really trying in the old system then that’s an indication you were playing people weaker than you most of the time. So having to actually play well to get 3-4 kills is a sign the MMR is working.
Really just play the game like you normally would and don’t worry about if you win or lose. If you win, great! And if you are losing matches now it just means your MMR is going down to a level where you’ll have close matches playing the way you enjoy.
Getting 0 kills or 4 kills is supposed to be the exception, not the rule, so once you realize 1-3 kills is the intended results for most games you’ll see that your matches are actually close when that happens. You’re probably getting a lot of hooks, a few kills and if you’re playing well having a close shot and catching the last survivor before the exits open. The gens are intended to finish and Exits open most games even when you play well so you shouldn’t get too upset when it happens if you otherwise did your best.

The real problem is not 0k or 4k. It's just that the game goes too fast. If the survivor are any good, and you don't play one of the strongest killer, HALF of the survivor objective are already done in the first hook. This is stressful, you don't have even time to check a generator that isn't worked on without risking your precious time.

In high MMR they mainly cheat ,it's not you.

I didn't even think about the possibility that People cheat, is it so commonplace? How could you know if a survivor is cheating?

It's subtle things they do they'll be slightly faster, able to somehow dodge things that would normally hit ,and the obvious lag switch.
Also if you're running haunted grounds and ruin ,and somehow the blow the ruin first is a obvious hack

It's funny you should say that, I actually completely remove ruin/devour from my builds because they go in the first minute. At first I thought I was just unlucky but now I'm not so sure.
Easier for me to simply remove it for something consistent, like play with your food and Nemesis

I don't mind having to try hard to win. But the path to victory as killer has become filled so many unfun things that it's hard to get motivated to want to play killer at all.

Agree, victory but at what cost.

The only people that play "toxic" and to annoy you its just some SWF. Try to play at late hours you will find it more relaxing and will encounter less SWF and more soloQ that just want to have fun.

I only play dirtiest possible with strongest add-on and red mori offering, and then weirdly it became chill.
