Skill check glitch

When i was playing bead by daylight i tried doing the skill checks in the game but the skill checks wouldn't work, by "wouldn't work" i mean when i clicked the skill check for good or great it would show that i failed the skill check by the gen degrading without the gen exploding and i wouldn't gain any skill check points for it. This also isn't just related to the gens skill check but to all the skill checks in game. I play on Xbox One if that helps as well as this glitch is permanent I restarted my xbox hard restarted it i even uninstalled the whole game and reinstalled it but the glitch was still stuck in the game please if you have any suggestions to fix this I would deeply appreciate it thank you. Also this started happening when the event started i'm not sure if its due to the beta test of the new wiggle system or something else all together hope this problem can be fixed.
