Lightborne
Look at a wall
Slug

too many bug angle, even i alreay look up on my head, still get blinded

Im suprised blinding things still bother people this bad lmao they are easily the most counterable items in the game

Firecrackers are harder to use than flashlights. The timing is more precise, and simply faking a pick up is enough to throw it off. Not to mention the really loud fizzle sound.
7 -
The issue is more that sudden bright flashes and strobing are really rough on photosensitive players. Especially in a game this dark.
1 -
Really firecrackers? I actually like them, they are really cool
And blinding with them is much harder than with flashlight
2 -
Firecrackers are a 1 time use item and you need to time it well to get a successful blind especially since the killer can hear it giving them plenty of time to dodge.
2 -
Firecrackers are a one use item and are harder to use than flashlights. Plus they're just event items.
3 -
So sensitive

It's not bullying to save a fallen survivor with firecrackers which, as some have already mentioned, aren't the best choice when it comes to rescuing them.
Not everything survivors do has to constitute some form of abuse. It is quite possible they might just be playing the game as they ought to and promoting altruism: something that's necessary to get out alive.

Firecrackers are, like, the weakest form of blinds possible. They're only an issue if you're playing Wraith. I don't think I've ever successfully been firecracker blinded during a pickup. Pay attention to the sound cue (or the survivor running out in front of you) and jerk your camera upwards if you hear the fizz of a firecracker. Unless the survivor timed the blind perfectly - and they need to be much closer to you than they would with a flashlight to pull this off - it is trivially easy to avoid.
It's a one-use item that a survivor brings in lieu of a toolbox or medkit and could have gotten a steady supply of through a perk anyway.

Firecrackers are harder to use than flashlights. There are many counters to them too. Look up, look at a wall, turn around, etc.
Also, Flashbang can do the same exact thing as firecrackers. So, yeah.
1 -
That is a separate problem from calling something survivor sided lmao
1 -
I just look up, so even if I didn't bring Lightborn, I never really get blinded by those.

You're not really complaining about Firecrackers are you
4 -
Firecrackers are bugged, they blind when you look away.
1 -
You cannot be serious.
1 -
No, it's one and the same.
Think of it this way.
BHVR removed Bubba masks for much the same reason.
They make playing Wraith absolutely miserable.
0 -
Yeah, it happens when the survivor plops it down right under you. Like if they throw it down at the back of your heels even though your facing away from it, you still can get blinded.
1 -
If someone actually gets a firecracker save on me I want to shake their hand and give them a medal to be honest.
They're genuinely pretty strong vs wraith but they're one use and you'd be better off with Flashbang for that particular use.

Another annoying trick is throwing it at the hook. If you time it right, it's unavoidable.

Okay, everyone said their piece. Now don't gang up on OP and continue with your snide remarks, I'm pretty sure that OP by now realize that firecrackers are the weakest of blinding sources and that his question got questioned itself fairly often.

Survivors wasting their item slot with new cracker, wasting their offering slot for slowdown offering, I can only be happy as a killer.

Hot damn just when I thought I read everything, I see people complain about Festive Firecrackers. This forum is too much for me sometimes 🤦♂️

Everyone doesn't have it
Not always available
Useless
1 -
Must be one of the two killers who recently lobby dodged me for toxic switching to fire crackers. 🤣
2 -
Although I agree with them removing bubbas mask...
this is what I was worried about, that if the community uses things annoyingly enough they can things removed.
instead of fixing the problem with the players themselves
like Items,Cosmetics,Charms

I don't, but I think I've said my piece on it. It's not my game.
But yes, that's the exact problem. It's the 'okay' emote all over again. If you remove something because a few chuds use it to be nasty, you are basically saying 'hey, if you troll hard enough you can change the game to further annoy a lot of people'.

Lightborn is a teachable on Hillbilly - everyone has him because he comes with the base game so everyone has access to that perk.
1 -
Sure 😭
0 -
The character yes but not the perk due to how the game is set up you cannot just get his learnable perk and suddenly you have it you still have to grind bloodwebs inorder to obtain it and remember you have to do this once per character other than Billy and 2 more times to upgrade it.

If you get blind by a firecracker you could have been blind by a flashlight far easier. Plus flashlights are multi-use.
2 -
Imagine killers complain about firecrackers while flashlights exists. Amazing.
1 -
literally a worse flashlight, can people stop complaining about the other side doing ANYTHING?
1 -
I want firecrackers to stay in after the event is finished.
