Is Blight harder than nurse?

I personally find blight to be much harder to play than nurse, I think many people still say nurse is the hardest killer because they have been told it so much over the years, but nurse can ignore everything in the game but blight has to deal with loops still

what do you think?

Honestly, nurses difficulty is reeeeally over rated (particularly on PC) she’s just different

    I disagree.

You literally can't play Nurse like a normal Killer. If you don't build muscle memory fast, you will lose a ton of games.

On PC, no, on console? Holy ######### yes, it may just be me but I've sunk about an equal amount of time into both and I perform significantly better with addonless Nurse than Blight with Alch ring and Blighted crow.

I'd say no for the sole reason that Blight still can just M1 loop like any other 115 killer, and Nurse can't loop normally at all.

Well yeah, if you try play nurse like a normal killer you will always lose, but if you open your mind you will find she is quite easy to learn

    She's not.

You actually don't get enough time in those matches to build muscle memory. Survivors don't care that you're learning and since you can't land a Blink, you can't slowdown the game at all.

Well, yes, but while you're learning him Blight has leeway that Nurse doesn't. The ability to loop normally will still come in useful during normal games anyway, so Blight being able to do that where Nurse doesn't does make him easier in a strict sense.

Nurse is stronger but that comes at the cost of being way harder. You have to learn how to do the hyper specific thing that only she does because she cannot do anything else, whereas Blight's power has more in common with other killers and he's a regular 115 killer under it.

Well no. Blight can fall back on being an m1 killer if he isn't good with his power. Nurse cant. She has to be proficient with her power in order to win chases. If you arent its a loss guaranteed. Therefore her skill floor is higher. Nurse is also just stronger than Blight. There's always room for improvement for her gameplay hence the mythical god Nurse. So her skill ceiling is higher too.

Not to mention her pickrate is decently high on the board yet she still remains just below the 50% killrate mark.

Well if you are trying to win, AND learn her then that won’t work, when learning her you have to accept you will lose matches a lot at the start, but as you play these games, you get hits more and more often and it all falls into place

Blight has a lower skill floor, higher skill ceiling.

Nurse has a high skill floor, low skill ceiling.

Plus Blight still has to deal with pallets, windows and bad map design.

I agree that the difficulty of Nurse is really overrated. It is not that hard to learn her in a way that you win most of the time. Not saying it is easy to master her, but you dont need to master a Killer to get more wins than losses.

But I would say that Nurse is still harder than Blight. The thing with Blight is, if you want, you can only use his Power for Mobility and do chases without any Rushing. Not the best way to play him, but it would be more successful than playing Nurse in the same way, because with Nurse, you totally need to use Blinks to get hits.

However, I would say that Blight is more frustrating to play. With Nurse, when I mess up a Blink, this is entirely on me. Stuff like not predicting the Survivor or slightly looking down to end up in the Basement can happen rarely, but this is on me.

With Blight, not being able to rush into things and sliding off on the other hand is really frustrating.

I felt definitely it is, nurse is faster, doesn't care palette/windows, and can even pass through walls.

Blight on the other hand, more or less just a killer who has to break palette and play around windows, I think the biggest advantage he has is his innate anti shift+w power, and the punishment for mistake is even worse than nurse tbh.

Midwitch and the game is pretty much her home ground though, but anything else is trash.

Blight requires more of the map knowledge then nurse.

You have to know what is slippery and what is bumpable.

Before entering a tile, you need to know/visualize the gym so you can proceed with bump logic.

Gyms have to be looped one side for blight advantage, so he can rely on locker/pallet bumps inside instead of looking for objects on the outside.

A strong blight relies on bump logic and not only at hugh tech.

Once you enter a gym, single miss placed bump will lead to unable to bump properly (eg edge of barrel will mess it up)

Bump logic requires a plan and reaction time if you will be slow or obvious with bumps, you will not be able to land a hit.

Flicks are not easy either. To slip lunge, you have to be on the top of survivor. Which will land a 100% hit.

Survivor doing harsh turns and spin direction on very last moment can end up in a missed attack.

Nurse is a lot on predictions and blink mind games.

Nurse cant and doesnt need to loop around a car. You blink throuh ofcourse. But will you mind game before releasing a blink (eg side you go) or go straight there its up to you.

I play both and I find blight harder then nurse.

Nurse cannot travel across map with same speed as blight, and due to lower gen pressure, she seems to be less efficient

    Are you console player?

Don't get me wrong, i am asking because Nurse is not that hard. I know she is hard to play on consoles. But on PC, she is fine. Nurse is still harder than other killers but it is not almost imposible. If you give her some time, you can get good with her.
