We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.
Red Lightborn icon when attempting to blind Killer with Lightborn.

When you try to blind a Killer with Lightborn, after long enough, it will actually display a red perk icon at the bottom as if you were inflicted with a debuff. This doesn't really make a lot of sense, as it's not a debuff towards you but rather a buff to the Killer.

I believe this is deliberate so you know you didnt ######### up the blind, the killer simply is immune.

I actually don't believe myself that it's a bug, but the wiki admin, Doc October, claims that it is. I made this thread to see if it gets marked as "Not a Bug" to see if he's correct.

it was noted as a known issue in the 5.5.0 ptb so it is a bug

It’s def a bug, they’ve talked about it before. Guess it just didn’t get fixed yet.
