My solution
This isn't a good idea but I, do feel as if this would be the only way to satisfy everyone without splitting the community.Just make 2 v 8 the only game mode.For year's solo survivors loaded in the game with other survivors.No matter how bad the game goes survivors still had fun interacting with each other.Killers never get this experience it's pure loneliness.If the do 2 v 8 they should make it where you can load in with a friend or randomly with another killer and make the only and new game mode but to each the own.If they can find a way to keep solo que going and 2 v 8 both going then that's find also.
Also pubg has several game modes that all get play except for the custom battles unless it's set up by the players, but 2 v 8 would be fine

I will never understand why people want 2v8.
2 killers working together will beat any survivor no matter what and then can camp the hook with zero hope of getting them off.
How much fun is survivor going to be when all chases boil down to one killer blocks the pallet/window and the other just smacks you. Maybe they'll even time their attacks and insta down you. That's pure m1 killer. Not even concidering all the powers
Sounds simply horrible. Maybe as a mode for kyf so you can play it with friends but i would never touch it with randos

Umm...This would in no way be balanced.
Imagine 2 Billies or Bubbas. Or a Trapper and Myers; just trap Survivors and gain Evil Within. Or 2 Nurses...😱

you mean how another survivor waits for killer to pick up and blind or drop a pallet while the killer is in the middle of it
Some will do the camping slugging all of the above but others will play the game how you survivor mains want 3 hooking everyone running to the corner as soon as we hook you 👍

I just mentioned the relevance of your statement. It is us vs them 1 v 4, so let's even the odds a little. It's boring playing killer by yourself ,survivors don't they get to help each other, interact with each so killer side should have the same.

Would be nice to have the option to q with a friend as killer. But then 2vs8 isn't good maybe a real special and let it be 10 survs or so 2 killer could be really strong but it could be a fun mode that ddont affact your mmr or even has its own mmr I know the devs don't like the idea of other modes cause it could harm q times but I think it could help the game overall

10 survivors is way to strong.8 is really pushing the bill tbh it could be a 7 v 2 but with 8 each killer would get 12 hooks a piece if the quota is split.but obviously you might end up killing a survivor who's been hooked twice by the other killer so it's a tough balance to for pips.
It should have a random que also,myself included. I don't have any one in particular to play with, so this shouldn't be a mode that's exclusive to only friends.Just like you load into a solo que with random people the same for killers.It's probably hard to develop but don't make the job more complicated than what it is.
