Community toxicity
Anyone else agree that the dbd community is starting to turn into cringe community like cod with every single person being toxic and complaining?

It's been that way for a couple years now it's really sad to say.
But that happens with alot of PvP games

Yeah but I mean it's even worse than it was before. Back around 2018-2019, people complained and ######### but it was tolerable. But I would say around when Nemesis came out, the community exploded with toxicity and been getting worse since.

Nah i've played since 2017 and it's always been this bad. If it exists, survivors will complain about it if they lose to it.

This is true and it keeps getting worse if I hadn't put so much time energy effort and money into the game I wouldn't play because everyone is so toxic and I play games to unwind from work and personal stressors

I've only had maybe 10 games in my entire 6,000 hours that I would call toxic in any way. Playstyles I don't like aren't toxic, teabagging, hitting on hook, facecamping, flashlight clicking. None of this is toxic. The only toxic things I've ever experienced are the two times I had people threaten to find my address and kill me, and the few times survivors have bodyblocked me in a spot til I got killed for it. Outside of that people like to complain a lot, but nothing I would consider toxicity in any sense.

Wow. Ok that is more than just toxicity, that is a straight up felony! Or at least a misdemeanor.

Welcome to the multiplayer experience. Pay no attention to it and just focus on your game and what you can do

The true meaning of the T-Virus.

Agreed, you are the prime example.

Probably because the game was actually unplayable on Console and people were upset.

The DBD community has always been just as toxic as any other PvP game, but it used to be a little bit better back in the day.
It was barely noticeable, but the difference was there.

Wait, how is Resident Evil harboring a toxic community? It's a largely PVE only game. Do you mean like...gate keepers and stuff?

I noticed there is a big difference in toxicity depending on what server you play. I've played most of my time on Central European server but also played a while on North American and UK server.
From experience I can tell that UK server is by far the worst. Killers very often tunnel and camp.
CE is also quite toxic, mostly players from eastern european countries who'll start to swear in their own language.
And people on NA server are actually very friendly compared to other 2 regions. In game, but also post game people often give thanks. It's more enjoyable to play although if you're from Europe you'll have a latency around ~100 which is sometimes noticable in terms of hit registration.

That would honestly be the nails in the coffin for my tolerance for DBD LOL.
A Coffin sealed by nails, placed in a tomb of cement and sunk to the bottom of Marianna's Trench.
