But... doesn't each box have it's own key? So the pig can only get 1k with this strat? Not that i condon this playstyle, but yeah

Each trap has its own key
But each key has a chance of being in any box, so some boxes can have multiple keys in them. I recently learned it's possible (albeit extremely unlikely) that 1 box has all 4 keys in it due to how the RNG works

Then just change the add-on to a better and less griefable add-on. That's what they did with Amanda's Letter.

Plus the feeling you get because you know you have to search xyz amount of boxes until you get your trap off can feel unpleasant. While the current system certainly could use some changes, it successfully avoids the feeling by not forcing all the boxes to be searched to remove a rbt

You know what is the big tragedy of this? Pig getting nerfed every other patch is a meme and self-deprecating joke by now, but this time Pig players are bringing it on themselves, and it's probably not Pig mains, but just some douches who are in for the lulz and the salty-tears-ride till its over.
This add-on combo was fun when it was showcased on that video, but ever since it's just abused to make people angry or frustrated or just rile them up.
THIS is something that you should kill-switch and then, while you come up with a solution, change the head traps so that all for have pre-determined 1-4 boxes assigned to them, like a lot of players already proposed, that's honestly one of the best ideas for Pig (even though it would giveca 1k to afk Pigs each time, which is why this add-on needs 1-3 assigned to its traps).

This doesn't really bother me, to be honest, but I'm also not really bothered by dying when I play survivor in general.
The correct strategy, which someone already posted, is to 99 the gens and hope that she either leaves the box or you get hatch. It's hard to get solos to coordinate on that but, if they don't, then oh well. You had a weird match against a weird Pig.

Lol i dont agree with the playstyle but lets not pretend survivors dont get there trap off first try majority of time. At best 1k with this.

First of all, I haven't faced any afk pigs (yet). So I can't really say if this is a common issue or just the forum being the forum.
Now on regard of a solution, as it was already pointed out. There's a way to play around it. Which shouldn't be hard, considering that the killer is afk.
Is that fun? Probably not. But it's the same issue killers are still facing with Boil Over. However, Boil Over is considered intended gameplay by survivors. While this is considered an exploit by survivors.
I don't want to be that guy, BUT they are either both exploits or both intended gameplay. There's no in between.

As a survivor and killer player I'm guilty of expecting end game boops also sometimes I let people boop me sometimes I don't also I would be lying if I said the tome didn't convince me to try Pig which has filled the hole where legion once was I will always hate boons making legions ability basically useless unless you tunnel with it
Also as much as a meme it is I have yet to encounter a box blocking Pig heck I have encountered more friendly pigs than them and I only encountered 2 lol
Although I know they exist due to people complaining on the forums and seeing a video recommended to me on YouTube
