Reality check of Forum

Here i am after idk how long not active and all i see is people still posting the same things. People still asking for the same changes, still discussing the same issues. Nothing changes here...I sincerely hope you people realise this too and ask yourself if it's worth continuing. There's not a single thing i can say has changed, General Discussions are always about the same things, Feedback is still getting ignored...I won't say DbD is DEAD, it is to me, but it's stuck in an endless loop of nobody being happy about anything.

I’m still waiting for another game to take me away from this love/hate, abusive relationship that is DBD. And no, VHS is not the answer for me.

Damn I miss F13 in its prime. Sigh.

I felt the same way after a long break, looking at some topics from the side it seems pointless to keep complaining about something that it's not game breaking.

I became completely passive and no longer care about the current problems with the perks/gameplay. Maybe the older forum members come with a similar mentality.

Mostly people come here to write down their opinions and go, not really expecting anything.

I was expecting something like "This forum is not real, it's a nightmare!" thing.

Trust me, it doesn't really change.

The devs change the game little by little... and i really do think that the game experience is going into the right direction step by step. Its just that people focus more on the bad things than the right ones. Also, its hard to balance this game: because you have to balance something from two different perspectives at the same time (and people that only plays one don't understand the game fully).

People will always come to the forums to vent. That's just a rule of humanity at this point.

It's important to realise that the forums are a miniscule part of the community. They do not reprisant the playerbase on a whole.

Hell a lot of the people don't even play the game anymore but still choose to bathe in the negativity here.

Ofcourse they are going to think the game is bad when they read people's vents every single day and never are able to experience the good things the game offers

Just realized this is exactly what I do :)

What do you mean in the right direction? If in 2016 things were worse then yeah sure the game got better over 5 years but if 2016 was Hell then 5 years later we're not in Heaven we're just in a slightly not as bad of a place as in 2016. In simpler terms if 2016 was the 7th Circle of Hell now 2022 is like the 4th Circle of Hell, it's still very broken and terribly managed just not as bad as 2016. The issue here is that yeah that's how it should work, it should get better over time so going from "7th circle of Hell to 4th circle of Hell" means jack ######### that's how it should be done in every case. REALITY CHECK tho : YOU'RE STILL IN HELL.

No. The devs made a lot of changes that make my experience better whether i am playing killer or survivor (keys/ moris/ ds/ bt/ object/ no more god loop/ good variety of good killer perks etc.). The game is in the best state that's ever been. The problem is the childish community.

Yeah many people complain on this forum but i think surv mains are actually right about complaining. Survivor role keeps getting weaker. But i just dont understand why killer mains complain.. like.. devs gave them enough perks to stomp any solo survivor team.

If people weren't happy about anything in the game I doubt anyone would play it.

Me for example. Game has flaws sure but it can still be fun and that is the reason I play it on and off for years.

People do focus on the negative, and that is why you might get that impression. I doubt that even those who complain the most are not having fun at all. Why would anyone play the game they never find fun?

They are kids that can't rationalise things. You see it even more when trying to debate on the forums.

I hear you. I alternate between this and f13 as a killer. Play this until sad ( not long) then f13 to cheer up 😀

I know right. No game is perfect. I see the sadness a lot here too. Frustration, anger. This game has a great concept, simple and fun. Unfortunately run poorly in some ways. But when i am down, and i feel like i cant play anymore, i see kate denson in the mist, claire not far away, and i feel better, happy. There is a light at the end of the tunnelling. We just need to remember why we play dbd. I dont need to explain my reasons any further. 🤭

It was getting better, but they took 20 steps back with the release of boons and recent killer nerfs. All they had to do was.. not, do any of the recent perk buffs or boons and just nerf deadhard and it would have been the most balanced dbd has ever been.

I tried VHS too and gotta say,the game design really isn't appealing to me,this dragged closed beta just made it worse.

Unfortunately that's going to happen and right now unlike you I can't see it getting better especially since the bad has outweighed the good.
