How do I get into a game as a survivor?

I have spent 40 minutes searching trying to get a game as a survivor but it will not find a game, I have searched solo and as a party of 4 but have not found a game. My 3 other friends also can't find games. But using killer I get in within a minute

    Survivor que times vary depending on MMR/Time of day

    I think depending on your timezone, the later it gets - the longer the survivor ques tend to be?


    Also do you play with crossplay on/off?
