What do you think of Grim Embrace?
Do you think that hooking the four survivors once and blocking all gens for 40 seconds is enough of a reward?
Well, i didn't try the perk yet. But that seems quite underwhelming. Like, i think it would be better if you got a reward each time you hook a survivor for his first time... but then you'd need to tone down the timer quite a bit (cause it'd make camping even stronger).

I think it’s fine in principle but 40 seconds is probably a little too short. Consider that No Way Out, for example, extends the game by 60 seconds if you’ve hooked all four survivors and tells you exactly where someone was when they touched a gate to activate it. So in a very real sense No Way Out is just objectively a more powerful version of Grim Embrace.
So either No Way Out is too powerful or Grim Embrace is too weak or both. There’s no reason they shouldn’t have the same duration.

It's too little reward for what is required to activate it, and it's an all or nothing perk; you either get the 40 seconds or you get 0, unlike NWO which scales up with each token.
NWO also lasts longer, so there's virtually no reason to use grim embrace over it unless you want to run both of them or you care about the obsession for some reason (eg. maybe if you pair it with rancor).
I've tried getting grim embrace to work a few times, and every game it either didn't activate because I was struggling and I lost, or it activated when I didn't need it/I would have won without it.
That said, I actually don't like the idea of increasing it to 60 seconds, because that means the killer can actually facecamp an entire hook stage for free. I don't have a problem with this for NWO because it's endgame, but a midgame perk shouldn't do that. So I'd rather give it an additional effect of some kind (or rework it entirely) rather than increasing the duration of it.

Grim Embrace is not even close to be considered a bad perk, at least when you compare it to most of the killer perks.
With that being said, the time the generators get blocked need some buff. 40 seconds is too short. Also, Grim Embrace should activate when the last survivor gets unhooked, not when he gets hooked.

Maybe change it from seeing the aura of the obsession to seeing the aura of all survivors and I'd have it be for the full 40 seconds. It could be a fun perk to run on Oni.

Lots of setup for an effect that is not very good and can only trigger once per trial.

In general, I think it is a decent Perk and I like the activation requirement. It is also not a weak Perk at all.
However, if a Killer hooks everyone at least once, there should be a bigger Reward. The thing is, this Reward happens mid-match or maybe even in the Lategame. And I think this is the reason why the reward is not as high. Otherwise I would say, the time Gens are blocked should be doubled to 80 seconds, however, this might happen during a time where the Killer already has a lot of Pressure (unlike for example Corrupt Intervention).
So I think, if the Devs want to change it, it will take some time and they need to be careful with it.

I like the idea as a perk, and the playstyle it kinda forces you into, which for killers is not tunneling and survivors are forced to do something other than holding m1 to rush gens.
The problem is the payout doesn't equal the rewards you get. As it could not happen at all, especially if someone randomly DCs, 40 seconds just isn't enough time especially when you have deadlock and DMS both with more consistent effects and longer times.
I don't think the time should be doubled though. A solid 50-60 seconds would be fine. Or add like a bitter murmur affect to it or something. Once it activates you see all survivor auras for like 5 seconds or something. It would make it to where you can go about continuing to progress the game towards your end goal, and keep the game moving at a steady pace. Because right now, if you're not running BBQ, survivors can literally hide to wait it out and it makes the perk really ineffective.
I'd also like to see a counter, like bbq has. I have no idea why they didn't just implement that anyways, seems a bit short sighted. It's not a huge deal, but something that seems like it should go on the perk.

It's an alright perk, but it triggers once in a match, and it's difficult to decide when you trigger it as killer.
A one-off block at a random point in the match isn't consistent enough to consider bringing.

That could work. My other idea was giving the killer a speed boost so they're not encouraged to just sit at the hook for 40 seconds with no other objective to defend. But I like your idea because that makes it harder for survivors to just wait it out.
