My ping always got 200+

this is my first time experiencing this so 4 days ago i tried to login dbd but when i play my ping is very high and the delay is severe i've tried to reinstall,using vpn and tutorial on one of the platforms, can anyone help me to solve this?

    A VPN will only make your ping worse. I wouldn't recommend using it for DBD. What sort of ping are you getting without the VPN, and what sort of ping do you get outside of the game? For example, if you use an internet speed test (like fast.com or speedtest.net) what ping (in ms) do you get?

    If you have bad ping in game and bad ping outside of the game:

    This is likely an issue with your own network/internet connection. For example, an issue with your home network or a problem with your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

    If you have bad ping in game, but good ping outside of the game:

    This would normally be an issue with regards to region (location), since unfortunately not all regions have DBD game servers. However, in this case, you're saying it's your first time experiencing this, so I'm assuming this isn't the case.


    Given no one else has answered, I'm more than happy to help out further, but would be great to establish the above first to get an idea of what's going on :)

    Additional to what @InsaneCoaster asked, which platform are you playing on and how are you connected to your router (WLAN or cable)?

    What region are you playing in/how close are you to the nearest DbD Server how/what was your Ping before?
