Sole Survivor is a good concept and has the potential to be a decent perk, however....
The current effect barely provides any benefit.
Would it be that crazy to give you 7ish % speed boost to repairing, vaulting, healing, exit gate opening and totem cleansing for each sacrificed survivor in your team? Especially considering the fact that playing 3v1 or 2v1 drastically decreases your chances to escape, so that effect will serve as nothing more than a little compensation? I actually would pretty much enjoy a perk that actually makes me stronger after a teammate is sacrificed or DC's, considering how frequently that happens within the first few minutes of the game in solo Q people giving up after getting downed once and killing themselves on hook or straight up disconnecting. Currently it's pretty much GG after that happens as it's incredibly hard to win 3v1 at 5 gens.
And for being a "Sole survivor", Sole survivor does very little in helping you escape. The aura reading effect (that also work off distance) is incredibly situational to begin with, but it gets worse by the fact that it works only if the killer has aura reading perks. If he doesn't, you're basically playing with 3 perks.
I know there's a million threads about perk change suggestions and all, but it really does get annoying to be forced to play with the same 10ish perks, since the other ones are downright useless. It's annoying for both survivors and killers.

I'd love for sole survivor to do something else I've always loved this concept.

Yeah, that's an idea to go further with the perk theme. The only thing i'd disagree is the increase to vaulting speed... i dunno, i have a bad feeling about it. But otherwise, it is a good idea.

Yeah, maybe the vaulting speed may become way too powerful if paired with Resilience and Spine chill. But the rest would we okay right? Like it would make sense to do gens faster considering you have 1 or 2 less people able to do gens or being able to open gates 21% faster after everyone is dead, since you are the "Sole Survivor".

Believe it or not, I've managed to get this perk to work a couple times. It requires the stars to align, but it feels good when you manage to do so.
@TheClownIsKing would have been proud.

Sole survivor is one of the most useless perks in the game. Idk how it's not been changed yet.

IMO, Left Behind and Sole Survivor suffer from the same design problem where their benefits cannot be too much to the point of encouraging you not to rescue your teammates. That kind of design can be interesting as a catch-up mechanic but has the risk of promoting selfishness more than it's currently encouraged.

I think the speed increase to gen speed, healing and cleansing is a good alternative, since all of those things will support your team as well as yourself. I don't think letting a teammate die for a 7% speed increase is a good trade, 1 survivor will always be way more valuable than this. This is more just to give you a better chance of you (and the remaining in your team escaping) after having a really rough start, a teammate giving up or being tunneled out of the game early and so on. That's just my idea, there could be many more things that can be done to make Sole Suvivor more useful, as not even kidding, for my almost 1k hours in the game, the only time I've ever saw someone using Sole Survivor was when they were doing Adept Laurie, and last time was probably more than a year ago.
