Is this "taking the game hostage?"
I managed to trap a Survivor in a corner late game, and rather than hitting him and risking him getting away, I instead kept him trapped in that corner until the endgame collapse killed him. He got salty and said he's reporting me for "taking the game hostage."
However, I personally don't see this as taking the game hostage. That would be more like trapping the last guy in a corner indefinitely, without the endgame collapse being in play, forcing him to disconnect as the game would never end. And in this situation, the game did end, because of the endgame collapse. I did not trap him in the corner to be a troll, I did it because I was actually trying to kill him using the endgame collapse.
So, my question is, is this truly "taking the game hostage?" Because I did it for a valid reason, to kill him, which is the whole objective, I did not do it just to be a troll.

If Endgame Collapse had not started when you initially began to block that player, then yes that is taking the game hostage and a bannable offence.
If EGC had started, then there's no problem.
