Cannibal chainsaw stopped working (PC)

Step 1: Boot the game.
Step 2: Play as Cannibal.
Step 3: Down a survivor on final swing.
Step 4: Chainsaw is permanently out of charges.
Additional Info: I was playing Cannibal (Bubba) with the addons "Iridescent Flesh" and "The Beast's Marks", the offering "Jigsaw Piece" and the perks "Barbeque and Chili" "Discordance" "No Way Out" and "Remember Me"
