Totem Placement Changes?

I took a few months away from dbd and when I came back it seems like totems are much harder to find and none of them are in their usual spots. This could honestly just be me being a potato but has anyone had the same issues or does anyone know if totem placements were changed?

I don't think there's any confirmation on totems being changed location wise.
That said on newer and indoor maps depending on rng they can be pretty decent.
Some maps are still just horrible for spawns like Ormond, Autohaven etc. Now that boons are meta survivors nowadays are finding totems and memorizing spawns more.

They gotta hide totems better if anything. Survivors get boons which doesn't seem fair to most killers that rely on damaging people like Legion
