Significant increase in SWF teams recently?
Anyone else getting significantly more sweaty SWF teams recently? Feels like I'm facing high MMR SWF teams 3/5 matches these days & then the off games I get put in with people that are obviously pretty new to the game (which isn't fair on them either). I'm lucky if I get 2/10 games that feel balanced and fun at the moment.
Its not surprising that the queue times are getting longer for survivors. It really is no fun having to run certain killers and perks all the time just to have a chance at beating these bully squad SWF groups. I don't even feel a great sense of achievement winning against these teams because the games are so stressful at times.

Even after the whole SBMM change that lobby dodging doesn't give you low MMR killers?

Yeah, it's real fun. I played Pig and Ghostface the other night and had 3 games where I got 1 - 2 hooks and 10 - 15k points. That was all the DbD I could stand for the night

Yeah i feel like the number of people who play with friends increased. And i cant blame them. Playing with friends is the logical choice since the game is becoming more killer sided every day.

It does feel like I get matched with more SWF groups more often (maybe it's just me though). I can't blame them. Solo is in a terrible state right now. What else are they supposed to do?

Or talking with your friend while doing the M1 for 80s is less boring.

I currently have a 74% escape rate and an average of 2 Survivors escape my Trials in SoloQ. It's not that bad

Yeah, I prefer solo. But with some tactics that are unfun, becoming more prevalent combined with sus teammates, I can understand why more people SWF.
Just look at, looking for players, threads, and they say as much.

I had a duo SWF attempt to bodyblock someone for me. (Starstruck+Agi)
They failed and Jake escaped but the other 3 did wait at the gate for a slug race.
How we managed that when only 2 of them were on VC is a mystery.

I honestly can't tell with this matchmaking anymore. Some days it will be adorable potato survivors running around and then at other days by the end of my first chase three gens popped. And it doesn't matter if you win or lose you will continue to see those survivors until you log out and start a new day.

I think it might be the mmr actually working, at least for solo survivors. I play solo survivor mainly, and i got way better teammates. Potatoes still happen, but way less frequent. That means you can do rescues and stuff with actual experienced solo players, and i am sure the killer feels like they are swf.

Its definitely SWF is pretty easy to tell with bully squads that are doing constant flashlight saves and hook sabotage in front of your face. I'm seeing a lot of players that also look like they play in some sort of clan or guild with prefixes before their names or names that are very similar.
Not every SWF I encounter is a sweaty bully squad, but playing against SWF all the time makes me revert back to playing certain killers with meta perks all the time, which is something I get bored with. I like to try out different killers with non meta perks for fun & currently I'm not having fun getting gen rushed or trolled by bully squads for like 70% of my games.
Can't even switch it up with brand new purchased killers that should have a lower MMR because the system is pathetic.

This. I try to play with a friend but the other two randoms we get kill themselves/DC the first chance they get. Afterwards they turn out to be red rank 1 survivors like, really?
And meanwhile killers just face camp the remaining players aka me and my friend. I really don't want to play survivor anymore unless I play in a group of 4 friends so that we all know we have each other's back and won't quit at the drop of a hat. Even being face camped in a group like this I don't mind because at least I don't feel like I'm wasting my time.
Legit have been not playing this Rift lately because I just get face camped almost every single match and I have officially given up.
