Should Hillbilly’s engraving add-ons have the charge penalty anymore?
I normally play without them. And gave them a spin. Yes the speed does make a difference and sometimes goes in your favor. But, also many times you’re better without them. Such as when you’re next to a pallet or window and the longer charge has your break or vault instead. And with his overheat it happens much more even with new penalty reduction. And it kind of annoys me he has this. While Blight and Oni who in most situations do better then Hillbilly. Have speed add-ons with no downside. They should see what it’s like with the penalty removed.

Just remove overheat so engravings charge time makes sense as a meaningful downside, not a ridiculous penalty.

Hillbilly imo especially double engravings enjoyers isn’t any different from pre nerf, the only deference is you can’t retry over and over and over again to hit flicks and curves against good survivors..
If the devs remove the charge time from engravings then lo pro chains would need to be nerfed 100%.
I personally think death engravings should be basekit w/o the charge time and some minor changes to lo pro chains to compensate giving people the choice to run addons like junk yard air filter or punctured muffler etc..
Old hillbilly was a broken rev back fest, instasaw, spirit enduring abusers, bamboozle etc. All overheat and reworking his chargetime addons did was separate the people that were garbage with billy that used all that..
Billy takes more skill then ever now so an obligation to remove over heat would not be crazy at all.

I mean it would make more sense to bring back old billy. Obviously tweak the charge addons. Don't bring back old carburetor tuning guide. That's really it. Just the addons needed changes.

- Decreases Heat gained from charging the Chainsaw by -14 %.
- Increases Charge time of the Chainsaw by +12 %.
This is for both engravings. You are not penalized for running those addons by the overheat mechanic anymore.

I just wish he had less add on penalties and activation requirements. Just remove them all and tone down the charge time or speed add ons.

When did they change that? Well anyways I still stand by the fact that the charge time shouldn't be as long as it is.
