Does a killer need to be op so it can have atlist some players ?
I heard this question .And as a person who values all the aspects of a killer .I can say : "no". You can see two of the most powerfull and op killers rot without players .The artist and the cenobite they have mechanics that can cancel some playstiles loops , have add-ons which just make you op , break mechanics . And still no one as them

More like we should remove extremely stressful and pressuring aspect of killers, in other word, impossible.

No they don't need to be op but there needs to be more balance so more playstyles can be viable.

Most killers are already OP. BHVR should take a different approach to killer mechanics and design killers that are fair. Some oppressive killer addons like pinky finger and iridescent head must be nerfed. They should stop making killers that can ignore loops and pressure solo survivors easily like Nurse and Blight. They should nerf killers that dont have interactive mind games like Spirit. They should remove the Bloodlust mechanic that rewards killers for holding W. The changes i stated must be done for the health of DbD.

Pinky Finger, Iridescent Head, Nurse and Spirit have already been nerfed, some of them quite recently. You just can't get over the fact you're bad at the game can you?

Just ignore them it's another crutch survivor who talks about how Killers are oppressive and tries to justify that survivors need everything including the kitchen sink to stand a chance.

Glad I'm not the only person who thinks this.
I always loved going against nurse and spirit because they make you play differently and actually think ahead of what you are planning.
Can't believe people still cry over these 2 add ons as well, cause imo the were never really a problem to begin with.
The times i got actually downed by 1 of them i can count on 1 hand 😂

Pre-nerf Iridescent Head was a problem imo. 3 instadown Hatchets could do a lot of damage. Now that you only have 1, I think it's a little more reasonable.
Pinky Finger was never a problem. It was balanced, it made Clown actually scary when you were out of position. It still had the same counter as normal bottles, pre-dropping Pallets. With Pinky Finger, you just had to play more careful and not wander into dead-zones

I personally never had much issues with 3 hatchets but that's just me.
They could do a lot of damage if you let it happen tho, which will be usually against solo players or people who just run in a straight line.

Definitely funny, but how big are the chances that will happen a lot.
Once it happens 1 time, you just make sure you are behind something when they hook someone.
Never happened to me tho, the only time i got downed by a iri head was making a bad read or just got caught out in the open.

Killer just needs to be smooth and not be so frickin clunky.
