Do you think improvements should be made to The Trapper's traps?
The Trapper is regarded as a weak/underwhelming killer and there are a few problems that are constantly exploited with his traps. I think one or more of the following should be done with the traps to improve this power but what do you think?
- Dead hard should not make survivors immune to bear traps.
- Another survivor should not be able to walk through or stand on a trap while another survivor disarms it.
- Disabling a trap should grant The Trapper killer instinct on that survivor for a brief duration.

Ive said it before they could make trapper a lot more interesting by giving him a variation on traps. Like not just bear traps but locker traps and window traps or slow traps. There are a lot of ways they could do it he just needs a revamp as he is boring to play as and against

I don't think those are really the biggest problems with his traps. I would like to see more addons that punish disarming his traps a la Killer Instinct, but I don't think it's necessary as a base kit thing.
What's hurting him right now is twofold;
1: He's a setup killer that still can't set up immediately. Getting an extra trap absolutely helped, everything that hit in that patch helped tremendously, but now the problem is that sometimes traps spawn on the complete opposite side of the map where you never want to go to. My proposal is that they should spawn on the same side of the map as you, trending towards the centre. That way, you can set up to your heart's content without wasting a tremendous amount of time.
2: Visual design for newer and updated maps, while objectively better for the game as a whole, are hurting him. I propose that he have his Tar Bottle reworked to provide map-specific camouflage, on top of maybe changing the base visuals of his traps a little to be more neutral. The Tar Bottle hurts more than it helps in enough scenarios that it warrants changing, it's no longer objectively one of his best addons, and Trapper deserves a little future-proofing so the game can continue going in the right direction without leaving him behind.

Survivors have penalty and don't need any item to deactivate a trap. Compare this to hag, cenobite and demo.

What exactly is the comparison you're going for here?
Hag I can understand, survivors cannot "deactivate" her traps without a flashlight.
But Demo's Portals can be sealed without any special items so long as they've been activated by the killer first (same concept as how Trapper has to set his traps before survivors can do anything to them).
And Cenobite doesn't have traps, so I'm not sure why he's even in considering here. Unless you're referring to his puzzle box, which is more akin to Freddy's alarm clocks or Plague's fountains.

While sealing the portal they suffer from oblivious and with cenobite survivors have the lament configuration box that they need to go for and they have to drop their item to pick it up.

I've posted some ideas before, here we go:
1 - (passive) Trapper gains x% movement speed when moving in the direction of a survivor stuck in a beartrap. If the survivor is outside his terror radius, he gains a 20% mov speed buff, down to 10% if the survivor is within his terror radius. The buff is removed if The Trapper starts a chase, picks up the trapped survivor/free himself, or if he chooses to go in other direction than the caught survivor.
2 - (beartraps) Once caught in a beartrap, survivors cannot free themselves or get rescued for x seconds(I think 5 or 6 seconds would be okay), after the timer they can normally attempt to escape or get rescued by teammates. Even with the latest beartrap changes, survivors are still insta leaving traps quite often, which makes extremely disappointing to see your power not rewarding you at all, so I suggest this change to make things more consistent and have a better sinergy with the passive too.
These two changes would allow Trapper to move more freely trying to get survivors who got caught in a trap far away, rather than just have to ignore it as usual. Would allow for more fun and risky choices, which may or not pay off.
3 - (Tar Bottle Addon Rework) Changes the colour of the beartrap to blend with the environment colour. Since theres a lot of maps without grass these days, would be interesting to have an addon like that imo. Would have to be careful to not make the traps invisible tho.
