Decisive Strike bugged

I am on Xbox Series S playing as Jeff Johanson using the perks Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, Resurgence and Adrenaline. I went up against a Demogorgon on Blood Lodge and had wiggle skill checks enabled. Upon hitting my 11 o'clock Decisive Strike skill check in the exit gate room, not only did the decisive strike prevent me from escaping the killers grasp but I could not wiggle anymore.
