There's not much you. Would do with it I'm my opinion, like I think they buffed HEX:Blood-Favor as much as they can.

Unless they made it so the effect lasted a certain amount of time after it's cleansed then maybe a buff like that ,then again that defeats the whole "high risk-high reward" of hexes

    Buff it

It should definitely additionally proc oblivious status, blindness is a really weak effect that needs buffs on its own as well.

I’m inclined to think it’s probably good enough? It’s actually a decent effect against solo survivors, it’s only weaker against a swf. But I certainly wouldn’t complain if it was buffed to include Oblivious or whatever. 😄

Short of making it do something other blindness there is little much to be done to it. It's a super niche Hex for super niche builds like say you wanted to make a very aggressive slugging build you'd go third seal, knock out, deerstalker, perk of your choice it would make it hard for survivors to find people who are down, but outside of that it doesn't help with much else.

    Buff it

Imo despite the buff, it's still the worst one since blood favor isn't garbage anymore. The buff only affected killers with special attacks/alternate ways of damaging survivors. For M1 killers it's no different than it was before.

It can be a okay perk against solos, but it doesn't do much against a SWF because Blindness in general just doesn't hurt them as much due to their increased communication and coordination.

That all said, I don't really know what could be done with it/how to make it better without making it too strong or changing the core identity of the perk.

it needs another effect in addition to blindness, like oblivious or something.

    Do a incomplete rework

Maybe it should add another status effect on top of the blind one... so that it affects swf too. Oblivious? Exhausted? I dunno.

When i vote for rework, i mean a rework to the blindness status effect. make it more impactful

    Rework it

It's probably one of, if not the most useless Hex perk out there.

Blindness has next to no bearing on Survivor gameplay as is. If Blindness got a buff, it may become stronger. There is absolutely NO reason to bring it into a Trial - even if you're going an anti-information build, there are a lot of other perks that can disorient and confuse survivors more effectively without the risk of being cleansed.

The only way to make it viable at this point is to add effects to it, rather than augmenting Blindness itself (Which would be the ideal solution)

    Something along the lines of:

    Hex: The Third Seal

A Hex that roots itself in the aura-reading abilities of survivors. You exploit your prey's reliance on intuition and insight - rendering them stupefied before you.

For each unique survivor hit with an attack, gain a token up to 2/3/4.

Each survivor that is hit with a basic attack is afflicted with a debuff.

1 Token - Survivors are afflicted with the Blindness effect

2 Tokens - Survivors can no longer see health states, status states, or generator count on the HUD.

3 Tokens - Progress bars and item information are removed, making the only HUD element visible Skill Checks.

4 Tokens - The killer becomes Undetectable.
