Dodging copies..
Am I the only one who dodges lobbies with there's multiples of a certain type of survivor? I just like the emersed feeling of facing off against 4 different people. And having 4 Dwight's running around just kinda breaks that feeling. Anybody else?

Those games are the most fun so no

I do not. However, my normal "don't tunnel" rule gets tossed out. If I can't tell you dum dums apart and I hit the same person again because of it, sucks to be you, I'm not breaking off the chase at this point.

I only consider it if they all have the same skin. Then I know something is fishy.

I never dodge lobbies.
That said, when I see everybody is literally the same skin I know I'm going to be facing a lot of super altruistic swf buddies.

Oh I don't do it cause I think they're a swf or that they'll be sweaty. They can be as sweaty as they want and bring whatever. I do it cause I like the feeling of me be a killer in a horror movie.
I mean, what killer do you know of from the movies that only goes after quadruplets? Lol

One thing I often find when you have matching duos is its likely someone trying to protect their less exp buddy.
I mean one jake loops like a king and the other runs headlong into walls. You often always find them together and one really tries to grab the aggro from the other during chase.
Can't say I dodge much based matched sets but sometimes. 4x clones with tool boxes and near matching names, I'll pass on that ######### storm thanks. Often its a really obnoxious game and I prefer an immersive one over an obnoxious one.

Only if they have the same skin and I look forward to the day I encounter the 4 man David joke swf

I don't lobby dodge no. Also Lobby dodging with MMR is actually more of an issue, because that group is then created, waiting and is going to cause more backfill issues - ie, a killer who's MMR is significantly lower can then end up in that dodged lobby.

That explains the odd times of me and my friend getting the odd killer who plays like he is new in the flood of eri killers who know what they're doing
now question why do me and my friend sometimes gets teammates who either troll or act like they're new and brings killers to one of us when we are trying to do gens like I had that issue non stop the other day and it angered me a bit

MMR itself is issue already. They are dodging lobby because they don't wanna play with bully squads. If this does not tell anything to BHVR, i don't know what will
9 -
Honestly if i encounter bully squads I do a bit of bullying myself and slug one or two of them constantly like if you want to bully get used to the ground because I'm not going to entertain that

I tend to dodge if I'm using obsession perks

I never dodge (unless my ping spikes, but I don't really consider that dodging), but when I get the four-man clone army, I always brace a little for accusations of tunnelling in the endgame.
It's happened before, and apparently saying "i literally could not tell which one of you just got unhooked" isn't a good enough defence...

That sounds like a flaw with the MMR vs the player pool. Perhaps we should go back to the old system with the ranks

TTVs are usually bad news (ragequit, useless, ruin an otherwise good match)
Players with a recent VAC ban are usually bad news (of course).
Players that have already been caught speed-hacking but not banned (yet?) are, obviously, to be dodged. (I got the same guy twice yesterday. The second time, obviously, I've dodged.)

I was trying to get a Pig tome challenge done and had to dodge a lobby because they were all the same survivor wearing same outfit. I needed to hear the scream to know who to chase.
I usually don't tend to dodge lobbies which is probably why I end up with MMR's sloppy seconds.

Every other time my solo queue team does this the killers think weβre an swf and go hard. Last match we all went Bill and this guy started camping and t-bagging us. He told us not to cry and immediately left without saying anything when he realized we werenβt swf.
like, i just want to have some fun. When people do this they normally lack any good perks to use which makes the killer look extra dumb.

Wait. Is BHVR expecting players to play in matches they know are likely not to be fun, just to be the shining knight for another player they don't even know, or ever will know?
Like I can understand players dodging obvious lobbies that could be a 4man swf; all 4 same character, all 4 similar names, tags, etc. I wouldn't put the blame of an error in the mmr (sbmm) system on the players, and I don't see how it's the players job to fix it even temporary till the dev's fix it?

If it's the MYC on you just have to hit them when exposed not exposed by the perk itself. I did MYC,Devour Hope Undying, haunted with huntress with the movment speed add on and it was a blood bath.

Ahh thank you! I can do it now.

No problem you can do it with all the challenges I'm pretty sure. You could even use like t3 myers. It makes challenges so much easier.

Iβm not sure thatβs the best info to share publicly on a heavily killer main based forum..

I appreciate everyone's feedback, but I don't think most understand the point of the post. I could've been clearer though. I meant does anyone else dodge when they get multiples only because you want to play with mismatched survivors to have that immersive feeling. Not because you think it's a swf or troll squad. I already know that people do that.
I don't dodge a lobby if I think they're a swf or because I see a certain item or think they're gonna be sweaty. I literally only do it when I'm wanting that immersed feeling and wanted to see if anyone else does it only to get that immersed feeling.
Also I appreciate people trying to defend me?
But @MandyTalk was just explaining what happens when a player dodges. She wasn't saying I have to do something or play a certain way, she was just giving an explanation of what happens.
Which, they already said they were working to improve backfill issues, so just kinda waiting on that to see how that goes. Hopefully very near future πππ

Also I don't know why it tagged that other but now it won't let me delete it.

Yeah, even when it's just two with the same cosmetics it sucks trying to keep them straight.

Thank you for understanding what I was saying.
I do understand your reasoning - it's the whole not seeing two of the same character unless you imagine they're twins,or triplets! It's the theme more than the player you are dodging.
1 -
Not really, no.

I confess when I'm in a lobby with everyone the same survivor I'll swap because I think it's funny to be on a one person squad. That said I try to differentiate my skin from the others' if I can.
1 -
This is exactly what I do. I know itβs annoying for killers when everyone has the same skin so I like to change my outfit if I can. Sometimes the killer really doesnβt want to tunnel, but their hands are tied if they canβt tell the survs apart.

Or heavy survivor mains who love to demoralize killer mains

I think it is fun facing the same survivor and trying to 2 hook everyone before I kill them. It is like a test to see if I can count to 2 on 4 separate occasions. Very difficult stuff.

I don't mind it so much if different skins are used. Like if there's a dweard and then a different Dwight, it's like Daddy Dwight and junior. Who dies first? Does daddy Dwight straight up Abraham the kid? Or does junior leave dear old dad to become spider food?
I like making stories for it lol.
