New Mori Slot System
I like to shortly introduce my new suggestion about a customizable mori system.
At the moment every killer has a standard mori animation. It's kinda boring and players wished new moris / reworks for older ones like trapper anyway. A reworked mori system could be a nice solution.
1. Mori Slots
Let's say, you would have a custom mori slot for every killer - such as the perk slots. In this slot you can put in different mori items. The slot cannot be empty. As default you would have the current mori animation which every killer has. It's only possible to add one item in the slot at once.
2. Mori Items
Every killer would have multiple mori items. For the beginning it's of course enough to just add new moris for popular killers or new reworked ones for very old and basic moris.The item would have a title and description. If you hover a mori item, a 3D preview should be shown how the animation looks like.
3. Rarity System (optional)
In addition you could add rarities to the moris. The better the rarity is, the better / more / extra: animation / effects / sounds it has.
For quick example:
- Common (default)
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Very Rare
- Legendary
4. Unlock New Moris (Items)
New moris could be unlocked in different ways. For example:
- Buy a mori item with auric cells
- Get a mori item through an event
- Unlock a mori item through a new purchased cosmetic killer character
- Unlock a mori item through a DLC
Final words
This system would be only cosmetical and players would have fresh new ways to customize their killers. DBD would also profit from this system. It's just a win win situation for all! 😍
