See, it's not that I don't want Feng to get a crop top, I just don't want her to get cosmetics in general. She already has enough, and the more cosmetics she gets, the more people will be tempted to play her. That is bad for my sanity because I hate playing against her and her "nails on a chalkboard" voice.

It is a horror slasher trope that horny teens get killed, so one could argue there should be even more skimpy clothing in DbD. But because it's multiplayer I don't want it. However I think modding should be allowed so players can see what they want on their screens.
Modding is the only way I can see Myers getting a Halloween Kills mask, Robert Englund face rework for Freddy, Noir Claire from RE:2, etc.
But of course people had to ruin it by making Trapper's traps bright pInk.

Considering that BHVR release one or two Feng Ming outfits every month that cosmetic will come eventually when they run out of ideas about pijamas and e-sports stuff.

The team at BHVR responsible for cosmetics has nothing to do with bug fixes and other issues as far as I know. So I think it's okay to ask before Feng's next cosmetic is a panda bear onesie :)

DBD has to sell cosmetics. The main reason I buy skins is to support the game. If everyone could use mods, most people would stop buying cosmetics.

I think they cater to different but overlapping markets. Remember it only PC players who can swap pak files and consoles still a big market. Some of the mods I've seen (topless Myers, Priapism Leon) will have limited appeal.

I know, but you forgot a little detail: they choose the founds to use in each aspect of the game (and regarding the reports and bugfix they aren't exactly great to put it lightly)

I don't know why some changes to DBD take so long and on what basis some decisions are made. At the end of the day, we can only speculate.
