Also, could a friend who has a Steam account who meets the requirements on Steam acquire them for me? Is it a redeemable code in the store, or is it linked directly to a Steam account? I am on PS4 if that matters.

I think you could with a BHVR account and a steam account, even if you didn't own DBD on steam.

Well, the requirements for those shirts are being a member of Dead by Daylight Steam Group (Black) and owning at least one of the Left 4 Dead games (Red). There's no cross-progression between Steam and Playstation as of now, so I doubt it's possible. And no, it's not a code, you get those automatically with no additional notifications as long as the requirements are met (after all, they're in the game before the codes even got added into the game).
