D/C because of map offering
Trust me, I get it. But consider that a map offering is not always a strategy or an abusive map/loadout combo, sometimes people just get bored of the maps they're receiving and want to play in a certain realm.
I got tired of seeing Midwich every 2 games today and decided to use a map offering for a realm I thought would be refreshing and relatively balanced, so I picked Crotus Penn. I attempted to use the offering twice and both times, the killer task manager'd on me. Maybe it's karmic retribution for the lobbies I've dodged, but what the hell does the killer think I'm gonna do on Crotus Penn? If I wanted to be a dick, I'd use Ormond or Gideon Meat Plant.
Point is, consider what you know about the map being offered before you dodge; because if it's not an obvious survivor playground, there's a good chance that the user is just wanting to play a realm they haven't seen in a while.

They just need to remove map offerings, it become a problem recently, and will reduce the amount of thash on the bloodweb

I like map offerings, they keep me from getting my 7th midwich of the day. It's only really abusable in the hands of 4-mans and the masses shouldn't be punished for it.

Map offerings I see: RPD, Haddonfield, corn, the one that can lead to Mother-dwelling, ... very annoying maps.
If teens want to get smacked offering Midwich or the Game, I'm all for it though.

The only times I've played map offerings are when I'm being sent to same realm/map over and over OR I'm doing stupid "fall from great height" challenge and I keep ending up on Shelter Woods so I play a map offering I know will definitely have a height for me to drop from. Put in more maps so the odds of going to same map/realm multiple times in a row decreases and put great heights on all maps and I will have 0 reason to play a map offering.

Map offerings need to go. The (preferable) alternative is bhvr making every map not horrible to play on which I'd prefer and which is not gonna happen.

DBD mobile has a pretty sensible shop for offerings and add-ons, I don't see why the PC version has to be behind a mobile game in terms of features and QOL stuff.

Map offerings would be fine if every map was balanced. As it stands, they shouldn't exist, or their function should be inverted (reducing/preventing chance of map).

I call BS. You don't get 7 Midwiches or whatever in a row randomly.
They should remove map offerings full stop. They only exacerbate balance and exploit issues on maps by making it trivial for people who want to abuse those things to pick the problem map every time. Getting rid of map offerings wouldn't fix the map problems in question, but at least it would significantly reduce how often they appear overall in the matches.

They might as well when they removed moon offerings. tho if maps offerings get removed you will see alot more reagents

What killer would want to play on Disturbed ward? Especially as a map offering.
Map offerings with maps as unbalanced as they are in this game should not even exist

I enjoy most maps as surv, but as killer it just sucks to get hard countered by a map. Thats why i find it odd to have survs be able to pick a map.
I think they should allow killers to ban like 1-2 realms they despise so that oni doesnt need to suffer on the game, trapper can ban eyrie, billy doesnt have to see lerys or rpd, and myers doesnt have to stalk through corn.

The chappel isn't bad but the other one the main building sucks and the gen spread can be really bad.

Yeah disturbed ward main building can be a pain, but still would take it over 75% of all the other maps.

I mean. Maybe they got Crotus Prenn a lot that day and were just tired of it? Or maybe they both just hate that realm. It is possible.

Coal tower, wreckers yard, midwich, there are some good maps. Shelter woods can be actually pretty bad for some killers too cause its huge

You mean 2 gen chase seeing as 3 get done simultaneously and then one gets done in 47 seconds and another in 60 seconds when they move to it to help.

That could be, but you can also look it the other way around.
Why does the killer dc on that map?
I've done the same thing before and there was a very good reason for it.
If I'm being brought to haddonsfield for the 7th time in a row (not joking this actually happened) you damn right I'm gonna dc in the loading screen, even the 2 times after it where they wanted that map again.
Long story short, there's always 2 sides of the coin.
You might think the killer dc because you brought him there to have an advantage or something, while in fact he might have been brought there several times before you took him there 😉

It's strange that D/Cs happen in loading screens almost as if some map offerings are bugged.

Please remember that Unsportsmanlike Behaviour is not to be promoted here on the forum so discussing why you DC due to an offering or claiming your "pc happened to crash" at that exact moment is most definitely against the forum rules here.
