Shortcuts to "a win"
How does the community really feel about aspects of the game where you can take a shortcut to win (both killer and survivor sided)?
Hatch escapes were so widely hated. Even when 4 gens were complete.
The only time I enjoyed hatch as a survivor, solo queue I must add, was when you were faced with gates in close proximity to eachother or killers who can travel super quick between. Furthermore, the scenario had to present where a chest hadn't been opened, you actually pulled a key & you still had to find hatch in a short space of time.
Not a post to want hatch changed back, no no. Revert back to my question, shortcuts to "wins" - like them or not?

I mean, it's not like we're talking about someone taking a short route during a marathon or something, the hatch was intended at the time to work as it did, so I don't see it as much of a "shortcut". Honestly I think if they just made keys more rare they could have kept old hatch, (well, hatch 2.0) but that's just like, my opinion, man.

Only if killers had anything like that.

I mean, you could just slug & only have to hook 4 times.

Slugging is easier to rescue than hooks, and can be countered by unbreakable.
I definitely will not consider it as shortcut, it takes longer to bleed out, and slugging four people at once is not something happens on same skill level, the chances are it takes much longer than simply hooking them.
Shortcut is something like moris or hatches, which allow you to literally skip the objective.
